|
Cut cardstock and velvet sheet pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Real Red Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 2-3/4" x 3-3/4" from Real Red Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" from White Velvet Sheets
Mount the jumping snowman image from the Spirited Snowmen Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Memento Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the velvet sheet piece. Set aside to let dry for a few minutes.
Mount the "winter cheer" sentiment from the Spirited Snowmen Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Real Red Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the large white rectangle about 1/2" from the bottom.
Insert the stamped white rectangle into the Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder so the sentiment is in an area without too many dots. Place the folder with the card stock inside on a Cutting Pad on the Big Shot Platform at the lowest possible setting. Place a Cutting Pad on top of the folder and run through the Big Shot.
Tip: Make sure the edges of the folder are completely on the platform. Otherwise they will catch on the sides of the Big Shot and it may damage the folder and/or the Big Shot..
Adhere the stamped and dry embossed white rectangle to the front of the Real Red card.
Pick out the scalloped oval framelit from the Layering Ovals Framelits that cuts out a scalloped oval that is 3-1/2" long. Place the Real Red rectangle on the Cutting Pad on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the scalloped oval framelit on top. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Pick out the oval framelit from the Layering Ovals Framelits that cuts out an oval that is 3" long. Place the stamped snowman on the velvet rectangle on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the oval framelit on top so it is centered over the snowman image. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Use the Markers to color in the snowman image. The ink may spread slightly on the velvet paper, so don't get too close to the lines at first.
Use Soft Suede Marker on his stick arms and legs.
Use Pumpkin Pie Marker on his carrot nose.
Use Old Olive and Real Red Markers to color in his hat, scarf, buttons, and boots.
Adhere the colored snowman oval cut out to the center of the red scalloped oval.
Adhere the matted oval snowman image to the front of the card so it is centered over the sentiment.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere a Snowflake Trinket to the front of the card so it overlaps the ovals a bit on the left side.
Cut a 4" piece of ribbon from both the Pear Pizzazz 3/8" Shimmer Ribbon and the Real Red 1/8" Solid Ribbon.
Lay the red ribbon on top of the green ribbon so it is centered. Tie the ribbons together with a half knot in the center. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the lower right side of the matted snowman ovals.
