scrap Whisper White for sentiment and dragonflies
twine to wrap around the bottom of flower
Fold card base in half and attach DSP to front of card.
Stamp and punch out the sentiment. Sponge the edges with Rococo Rose.
Stamp and then colour over the dragonflies with Wink-of-Stella. Fussy cut out.
The Stamparatus was used to layer the stems, leaves and flowers of the image.
The easiest way to line up images is to lay out a scrap piece of paper on your Stamparatus base and place the main image where you would like it to go. Pick up the stamp with the clear plate and it will be in the right place! Then stamp that image. Now you can place the second layer of images right on the stamped image, pick them up on separate or opposite sides of the clear plate and everything will line up perfectly :-)
Ink up the main image of the plant with Mossy Meadow Ink and then lay a piece of paper towel over the inked image and press lightly to remove some of the ink. Press more at the blossom end as you only want a very light outline here.
Place your Whisper White piece into the Stamparatus and stamp the image.
Using Mossy Meadow again, ink up the leaves of the plant and stamp onto the image in full strength.
Using Rococo Rose Ink, ink up the blossoms and stamp onto the image in full strength.
Adhere the finished image onto the layering piece of Rococo Rose.
Wrap the twine around the base several times and tie in a bow. I lined this up with the "ground" part of the image.
Adhere to the front left of the card front using dimensionals.
Place the stentiment just above the twine. The portion on the image just uses snail adhesive but on the far right I used a dimensional to keep the height uniform.
Attach the dragonflies using glue dots or tombow.
Use the dragonfly stamp to embellish the card insert and envelop if desired and you are done!
