Snowflake Window Cut-out |
|
I t's Christmas in July! The crafters are all busy in their workrooms, and I am no exception! I have started planning my holiday cards, and this one is pretty special thanks to the amazing So Many Snowflakes Die set from Stampin Up!
Card base cut 5.5" x 8.5", scored and folded at 4.25" in Whisper White thick card stock.
Mat cut 5.5" x 4.25" from Balmy Blue card stock and then embossed with the Winter Snow embossing folder. The window is then cut out with the die from the So Many Snowflakes die set.
Break out your Stamparatus to make the next step easy!
Position your card base in the corner of the Stamparatus and secure with magnet. Place the mat with the cut-out on top of the card base. Position your sentiment stamp on the card within the window where you would like it to be, and pick it up with your Stamparatus by folding the plexi over and pressing it on to the back of the stamp. Ink up the stamp in Gray Granite. Remove the blue mat piece and stamp the sentiment directly to the card base.
Adhere the blue mat to the card base (it should fit perfectly around your sentiment!)
Add some embellishments by die cutting three sizes of snowflakes and layering them up! This card shows the largest snowflake cut from the Balmy Blue Glimmer paper, the middle one stamped in Gray Granite and die cut, and the smallest die cut from a scrap of the Balmy blue card stock.
