Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Cherry Cobbler Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Crumb Cake Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 4" from Cherry Cobbler Cardstock
Put a piece of Grid Paper on top of the Stampin' Pierce Mat to protect it from ink as you stamp off the edges of cardstock. Place the Very Vanilla rectangle on the Grid Paper on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the outline image of the bulldog from the Sitting Pretty Photopolymer Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Early Espresso Ink Pad. Stamp it randomly all over the Very Vanilla rectangle. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Let some of the images go off the edges of the cardstock. Rotate the angle of the stamp each time just a bit.
Mount the shading image of the bulldog from the Sitting Pretty Photopolymer Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Crumb Cake Ink Pad. Stamp it over the top of some of the previously stamped outline bulldog images. Stamp some of the bulldogs without re-inking the stamp. Leave a couple of the bulldogs without the shading. Clean the stamp using the Stampin' Mist and Stampin' Scrub and/or Simply Shammy, but leave it on the block.
Re-ink the shading bulldog image with the Early Espresso Ink Pad. Stamp off on Grid Paper one time before stamping it over the top of one of the remaining previously stamped outline bulldog images. Repeat until all bulldogs have been completely stamped, remembering to re-ink the stamp and stamp off once each time. Clean the stamp using the Stampin' Mist and Stampin' Scrub and/or Simply Shammy and put it back in the case.
Use the bronze Sharpie Marker to color 5 small Clear Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
Use the Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends to color 5 more small Clear Rhinestone Basic Jewels. Set the jewels aside to let them dry while you work on the rest of the card.
Tip: If you order the Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels, you won't have to color them with the Stampin' Blends!
Unlock the Banner Triple Punch. Insert the strip of Cherry Cobbler Cardstock into the punch as far as it will go. Punch.
Rub the punched strip of Cherry Cobbler Cardstock with the Embossing Buddy.
Mount the "wishing you..." or "happy birthday" sentiment from the Better Together Set on Block C. Ink it up with the VersaMark Pad and stamp it on the punched strip of Cherry Cobbler as close to the notch as you can with the notch on the right.
Lay the sentiment stamped cardstock strip on top of the Grid Paper in the center. Sprinkle on some Copper Stampin' Emboss Powder so it covers all of the VersaMark stamped sentiment. Tap off excess powder. Return the excess powder to the container to use again later.
Heat the powder with the Heat Tool until it is completely melted (smooth and shiny).
Tip: When heat embossing a small piece of cardstock, hold the cardstock with a clothespin to keep from burning your fingers.
Cut a 2" piece of the 1/4" Copper Trim.
Lay the ribbon across the punched and heat embossed Cherry Cobbler strip near the left side of the sentiment. Flip the cardstock over and fold the ends of the ribbon over. Adhere the ends of the ribbon in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape strips and add more SNAIL to the back of the cardstock. Adhere it to the bottom left side of the stamped vanilla rectangle so the notch is on the right about 1/2" from the right edge and the whole strip is about 1/2" from the bottom edge of the vanilla cardstock. Trim off excess Cherry Cobbler cardstock on the left side if needed using Paper Snips.
Adhere the stamped vanilla rectangle to the Crumb Cake rectangle and then to the front of the Cherry Cobbler card.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of 1/4" Copper Trim.
Slide one end of the ribbon under the ribbon already on the card front. Tie it in place using a half knot. Trim the ends.
Carefully peel up the ten colored rhinestones from the sheet of Clear Rhinestone Basic Jewels making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them randomly to the front of the card.
