- 1-3/8" square from Adhesive Sheets
- 1-1/4" x 3-1/2" from Crushed Curry Cardstock
Rub 3 different Blending Brushes across the open Crushed Curry, Terracotta Tile, and Old Olive Ink Pads to get them inky. Lightly rub the inky Blending Brushes all over the large white rectangle in random blotches, blending the colors together. Get more ink on the Blending Brushes as needed. Keep the Blending Brushes out for now.
Pick out the largest smooth oval die from the Layering Ovals Dies. Put it on top of one of the large Garden Green rectangles on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered side to side and is about 5/8" from the top. Run through the machine.
Note: You are using the large rectangle with an oval cut out of the center for this project. Keep the oval cut out as scrap to use on another project or recycle it.
Insert the large green rectangle with the oval cut out of the center into the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. Use the line printed on the flap of the folder to help you line the cardstock up straight. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Pick out the large, detailed succulents background die from the Potted Succulents Dies. Put it on top of the remaining large Garden Green rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Put lines of Stampin' Seal or Tear & Tape Adhesive as close as possible to the edges of the oval cut out on the back side of the large, dry embossed Garden Green rectangle with the oval cut out of it. Adhere the rectangle over the top of the succulents die cut rectangle so the succulents die cut shows through the oval cut out. Trim off excess cardstock from the succulents die cut rectangle along the edges using Paper Snips.
Put more Stampin' Seal or Tear & Tape along the edges on the back of the Garden Green rectangle with succulents cut out showing through the oval cut out. Adhere this over the blended white cardstock rectangle. Trim off any excess cardstock using Paper Snips as necessary.
Adhere the Garden Green dry embossed rectangle adhered over the succulents cut out and blended white cardstock to the front of the Old Olive card.
Mount the flower pot image from the Simply Succulents Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Terracotta Tile Ink Pad and stamp it in the center of the larger Terracotta Tile rectangle.
Pick out the flower pot die from the Potted Succulents Dies. Put it on top of the stamped flower pot image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the image is centered in the die. Run through the machine.
Pick out the bumpy stems die from the Potted Succulents Dies. Put it on top of one of the remaining Terracotta Tile rectangles on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Remove using the Take Your Pick and Die Brush Tip. Repeat with the other remaining Terracotta Tile rectangle and the larger Crushed Curry rectangle..
Use strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive to adhere the bumpy stems cut outs to the back of the flower put cut out so they are all bunched together on what is the right side of the flower pot cut out when it is face up. Let the stems overlap and stick up from the flower pot.
Pick out the spiky aloe plant die from the Potted Succulents Dies. Put it on top of the larger Old Olive rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Remove using the Take Your Pick and Die Brush Tip.
Use a strip of Tear & Tape Adhesive to adhere the spiky aloe plant cut out to the back of the flower pot cut out so it will stick up on what is the left side of the flower pot when the image is face up. Let it overlap the left edge of the bumpy stems a bit.
Add more Tear & Tape Adhesive or Stampin' Seal to the back of the flower pot cut out. Adhere it to the front of the card so it overlaps the lower right side of the oval cut out and the bottom of the flower pot is about 3/4" from the bottom of the card.
As you are ready to stamp using the Art Gallery Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the sentiment of choice from the Art Gallery Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Old Olive Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the skinny Crushed Curry rectangle leaving room to cut it out. If you are using a shorter sentiment, stamp the sentiment slightly to the left side, but remember to leave an edge so you can cut it out.
Pick out the long, skinny label die with pointy ends from the Potted Succulents Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the sentiment is near the left end of the die. Run through the machine.
Adhere the sentiment label cut out to the front of the card so it overlaps the bottom of the oval cut out and the left bottom side of the flower pot cut out.
Mount the large, single succulent image from the Simply Succulents Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Old Olive Ink Pad and stamp it in the center of the remaining white rectangle.
Rub the 3 different Blending Brushes across the open Crushed Curry, Terracotta Tile, and Old Olive Ink Pads to get them inky again. Lightly rub the inky Blending Brushes onto the stamped succulent image starting with the Terracotta Tile in the center, then the Crushed Curry, and finally the Old Olive along the edges, blending the colors together. Get more ink on the Blending Brushes as needed.
Pick out the matching, large single succulent die from the Potted Succulents Dies. Put it on top of the stamped and blended succulent image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the image is centered in the die. Run through the machine.
Adhere the large succulent die cut out to the front of the card so it overlaps the upper left side of the flower pot image and the top right end of the sentiment cut out.
Pick out the small single succulent die from the Potted Succulents Dies. Put it on top of the small Old Olive square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Peel the protective backing off of the Adhesive Sheets square. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets square to one side of the small Garden Green square. Be sure to leave the other protective backing in place for now.
Pick out the small, detailed single succulent die from the Potted Succulents Dies. Put it on top of the Garden Green square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the Garden Green side is facing up. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Carefully remove the protective backing from the back of the small, detailed single succulent cut out and adhere it to the top of the solid, single succulent cut out.
Note: These dies do NOT line up exactly. Just get it close.
Use a Stampin' Dimensional to adhere the layered, small single succulent cut out to the front of the card so it overlaps the right end of the sentiment label cut out and the lower right corner of the flower pot cut out.
Cut a 3" piece of the Old Olive 1/4" ribbon from the Ornate Garden Ribbon Combo Pack.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the card front at a slight angle so it is on the upper right edge of the flower pot cut out.
