Seasonal Branches Cherry Blossom Thanks

Supplies needed:

Project Recipe:

1. Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
   - card from Boho Blue Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
   - 4" x 5-1/4" from Bubble Bath Cardstock
   - 2-1/2" x 3-3/4" of blue brushstrokes design from Fresh As A Daisy 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, cut so brushstrokes are horizontal on horizontal rectangle
   - 1-1/2" x 4" from Pebbled Path Cardstock
   - 2" x 2-3/4" from Basic White Cardstock
   - 1-1/4" x 1-1/2" from Basic White Cardstock
   - 1" x 2-1/2" from Pebbled Path Cardstock

2. Pick out the die from the Deckled Rectangles Dies that cuts out a rectangle that is 2-1/4" x 3-1/2". Put it on top of the Fresh As A Daisy Designer Paper rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.

3. Unlock the Banners Pick A Punch. Slide one short edge of the 1" x 2-1/2" Pebbled Path strip into the right side of the punch (the side of the punch with the inward notch) as far as it will go and get it centered. Punch.

4. Insert the punched Pebbled Path strip into the crosshatched embossing folder from the Basics 3D Embossing Folders set. Place the folder with the cardstock strip inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.

5. Adhere the punched and dry embossed Pebbled Path strip to the back of the designer paper rectangle cut out so the notched end is hanging down. The left edge of the Pebbled Path strip should be about 1/4" from the left edge of the designer paper rectangle and the tips of the notch should be about 1-3/8" from the bottom of the designer paper rectangle.

6. WITHOUT ADHERING, lay the designer paper rectangle with banner attached to the center of the Bubble Bath horizontal rectangle so it is centered side to side and top to bottom.

7. As you are ready to stamp using the Seasonal Branches Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.

8. Mount the sentiment of choice from the Seasonal Branches Set on an appropriate size block. Ink it up with the Boho Blue Ink Pad. Stamp it on the Bubble Bath rectangle so it is just to the right of the banner and just below the designer paper as shown.

9. Mount the single, four-petal flower image from the Seasonal Branches Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Bubble Bath Ink Pad. Stamp it in the lower right corner of the Bubble Bath rectangle as shown.

10. Now, adhere the designer paper with banner attached in place using Stampin' Seal.

11. Adhere the Bubble Bath rectangle to the front of the Boho Blue card.

12. Mount the longer branch image from the Seasonal Branches Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Pebbled Path Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the remaining Pebbled Path rectangle.

13. Pick out the matching, open large branch die from the Seasonal Branches Dies. Put it on top of the stamped image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine.

14. Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the branch cut out to the center of the designer paper rectangle at an angle so the bottom of the branch is in the lower left corner of the designer paper rectangle.

15. Mount the large group of flowers image from the Seasonal Branches Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Bubble Bath Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the larger white rectangle.

16. Pick out the matching, open group of flowers die from the Seasonal Branches Dies. Put it on top of the stamped image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine.

17. Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the flowers cut out to the front of the card so it is centered over the ends of all the branch tips as shown.

18. Mount the bird image from the Seasonal Branches Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Pebbled Path Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the small white rectangle.

19. Pick out the matching, open bird die from the Seasonal Branches Dies. Put it on top of the stamped image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine.

20. Squeeze the lid of the Bubble Bath Ink Pad to get ink in the lid. Use the Blender Pen to pick up ink from the pad lid and color in the lower belly of the bird. Remember to stroke in one direction only or the cardstock will tear and pill up. Scribble on Grid Paper when you are done until no more ink is coming off the Blender Pen.

21. Squeeze the lid of the Boho Blue Ink Pad to get ink in the lid. Use the Blender Pen to pick up ink from the pad lid and color in the upper belly of the bird. Leave a small amount of the belly uncolored near the bottom. Remember to stroke in one direction only or the cardstock will tear and pill up. Scribble on Grid Paper when you are done until no more ink is coming off the Blender Pen.

22. Squeeze the lid of the Pebbled Path Ink Pad to get ink in the lid. Use the Blender Pen to pick up ink from the pad lid and color in the tail, wing, back, and head of the bird. Remember to stroke in one direction only or the cardstock will tear and pill up. Scribble on Grid Paper when you are done until no more ink is coming off the Blender Pen.

23. Use a Stampin' Dimensional to adhere the colored bird cut out to the card front so he is sitting on the branch as shown.

24. Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the Boho Blue 3/8" Textured Ribbon.

25. Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.

26. Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the front of the card at an angle as shown so it is centered over the bottom left corner of the designer paper rectangle.
