As you are ready to stamp using the Sea Turtle Set or the Whale Done Set, place the cardstock or Masking Paper on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put a piece of Grid Paper on top of the Mat to protect it from ink.
Mount the seaweed image from the Sea Turtle Set on Block B so the bumpy side of the stamp is face up. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp the image multiple times across the Garden Green strip. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Let some of the images go off the bottom edge of the strip. Vary the direction and height of the image a little every so often.
Mount the sand dollar image from the Sea Turtle Set on Block A so the bumpy side of the stamp is face up. Ink it up with the Pear Pizzazz Ink Pad. Stamp the image repeatedly across the long Pear Pizzazz strip. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Let some of the images go off the left and right edges.
Mount the school of fish image from the Sea Turtle Set on Block G so the bumpy side of the stamp is face up. Ink it up with the Pool Party Ink Pad. Stamp the image repeatedly across one of the Pool Party strips so all the fish are facing the same direction. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Let some of the images go off the left and right edges of the strip. Now, stamp the image repeatedly across the other Pool Party strip so all the fish are facing the other direction. Remember to re-ink and let some of the images go off the left and right edges..
Mount the small sea star/starfish image from the Sea Turtle Set on Block A so the bumpy side of the stamp is face up. Ink it up with the Bermuda Bay Ink Pad. Stamp the image repeatedly across the Bermuda Bay strip. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time and change the orientation of the image a little each time. Let some of the images go off the left and right edges of the strip.
WITHOUT ADHERING, lay all the stamped strips on the large, vertical white rectangle to figure out spacing and positioning. When happy, adhere the strips in place one at a time.
Adhere the layered white rectangle to the front of the Bermuda Bay card.
Unlock the Essential Tag Punch. Hold the punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the skinny white strip into the opened punch and then pull the end up and out over the top of the punch until you've almost pulled the strip back out. Get the strip centered side to side. Punch. You are only punching the top edge of the strip so that you have a nice long tag!
Mount the small sea turtle image from the Sea Turtle Set on Block C so the smooth side of the stamp is face up. Ink it up with the Pear Pizzazz Ink Pad. Stamp the image on the top of the tag at a slight angle as shown. The top of the turtle's nose should be about 1/2" from the top of the tag. You won't get all of the front flippers. Clean the stamp using the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist Stamp Cleaner and/or Simply Shammy.
Flip the cleaned small sea turtle image over and mount it on Block C so the bumpy side of the stamp is face up. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp the image over the top of the previously stamped turtle on the tag. Leave the stamp on the block.
Re-ink the small sea turtle image bumpy side up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp the image on the piece of Masking Paper. Clean the stamp using the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist Stamp Cleaner and/or Simply Shammy and put it away.
Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut out the small sea turtle image on the Masking Paper by hand.
Carefully remove the backing from the Masking Paper small turtle cut out and adhere it over the top of the small turtle stamped on the tag.
Mount the large grouping of bubbles image from the Sea Turtle Set on Block I so the bumpy side of the stamp is face up. Ink it up with the Pool Party Ink Pad. Stamp the image all over the tag until you've covered the entire tag in bubbles. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Let some of the images overlap each other and let some go off the edges of the cardstock.
Carefully peel off the Masking Paper small sea turtle.
Tip: If you get the Masking Paper image off in one piece, keep it in the case with the stamp set to use on future projects.
If needed, use the Pool Party Stampin' Write Marker to fill in any areas around the turtle that didn't get enough ink.
Unlock the Happy Labels Pick A Punch. Slide one short edge of the short Pear Pizzazz strip into the left side of the punch (the side of the punch with the small, rounded scallops) as far as it will go and get it centered. Punch. Repeat with the other end.
Mount the "hoping all your birthday fishes come true" sentiment from the Whale Done Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Bermuda Bay Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the punched Pear Pizzazz strip.
Adhere the stamped sentiment punch out to the bottom of the sea turtle tag as shown so it is centered side to side and is just above the bottom edge of the sea turtle tag.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the Garden Green ribbon from the Real Red & Garden Green 3/8" Ribbon Combo Pack.
Fold the ribbon in half.
Use a staple to adhere the folded ribbon to the top of the layered tags in the center so the open ends of the ribbon stick out at the top.
Trim the ends of the ribbon into sharp angles.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the layered tag with ribbon attached to the front of the card in the center at a slight angle as shown.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up one large Pool Party dot from a sheet of Glossy Dots Assortment making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the top right corner of the sentiment punch out.
