- 1" x 3-1/2" from Basic Black Cardstock
- 7/8" x 3-3/8" from Adhesive Sheets
Carefully remove a magnet from the back of the Stamparatus.
Tip: To make it easier to grab the magnets and to help keep them from breaking if they snap together, wrap them in strips of washi tape or masking tape leaving folded over pieces to grab on to.
Place the Stamparatus in front of you with the open sides of the Stamparatus on the left and bottom. Insert one hinged plate into the Stamparatus on the right side so it is in the topmost hinge space. Put the Stamparatus Foam Mat on the base of the Stamparatus.
Place the piece of Basic White Cardstock on the base of the Stamparatus so it is horizontal and is tight to the top of the Stamparatus base and somewhere near the center. Put the magnet vertically across the left side of the cardstock rectangle to hold it in place.
Pick out the boy with lantern image from the Scary Cute Set. Place the stamp rubber side down on the cardstock on the Stamparatus base so it is in the lower right corner. Close the plate on the Stamparatus and press firmly so the stamp sticks to the plate. Open the plate.
Ink up the stamp on the plate using the Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad. If you get excess ink on the plate, you can wipe it off with a baby wipe or tissue. Close the plate onto the cardstock on the Stamparatus base and press down firmly. Open the plate.
Tip: If the image isn't dark enough to suit you, re-ink it and repeat.
Tip: Slide a Clear-Mount Stamp Case under the plate before inking up the stamp. This gives you a firm, flat surface to push against making it easier to ink up the stamp.
Remove the stamped white rectangle from the Stamparatus.
Use the brush tip of the Daffodil Delight Stampin' Write Marker to color in the center of the lantern.
Mount the sentiment of choice from the Scary Cute Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Highland Heather Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the stamped white rectangle.
Fold the Highland Heather card on the score line so the smaller flap is on the left and folds over the back of the card.
Adhere the stamped white rectangle to the inside of the back of the Highland Heather card.
Adhere the gray and white plaid Gingham Cottage Designer Paper piece to the center of the 3-5/8" x 3-7/8" Basic Black rectangle.
Cut a 14" piece of the black Baker's Twine from the Baker's Twine Essentials Pack.
Fold the twine into thirds. Lay the folded twine across the matted cardstock/designer paper rectangle so it is vertical to a 3-7/8" side . Fold the ends of the folded twine over and secure the folded twine in place on the back with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the Basic Black rectangle. Adhere the rectangle to the small front flap of the Highland Heather card.
Pick out the large open label die from the Scary Silhouettes Dies. Put it on top of the Highland Heather rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Leave the die out.
Peel the protective backing off of the 2-5/8" x 3-1/8" Adhesive Sheets rectangle. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets rectangle to one side of the 2-3/4" x 3-1/4" Basic Black rectangle. Be sure to leave the other protective backing in place for now.
Pick out the label with branches die from the Scary Silhouettes Dies. Put it on top of the Basic Black rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is in the center. Make sure the black side is face up. Put the large, open label die on top of the Basic Black rectangle so it is centered around the label with branches die. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces as needed.
Carefully remove the protective backing from the back of the detailed label with branches cut out and adhere it to the solid Highland Heather label cut out so all the outer edges line up.
Pick out the haunted house die from the Scary Silhouettes Dies. Put it on top of the black rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the black side is face up. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick as needed to remove the pieces.
Carefully remove the protective backing from the back of the detailed haunted house cut out. Adhere the small square of Daffodil Delight to the back of the haunted house cut out so it will shine through the windows. Use Paper Snips Scissors to trim off excess Daffodil Delight Cardstock.
Add additional adhesive to the back of the haunted house cut out as needed and adhere it inside the branches label cut out along the bottom.
Adhere the branches label cut out with haunted house attached to the front flap of the card as shown so it hangs over the right edge a bit. Make sure no adhesive goes over the right edge of the front flap or the card will be sealed shut.
Peel the protective backing off of the 7/8" x 3-3/8" Adhesive Sheets rectangle. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets rectangle to one side of the 1" x 3-1/2" Basic Black rectangle. Be sure to leave the other protective backing in place for now.
Pick out the one of the large bat dies and two of the small bat dies from the Scary Silhouettes Dies. Put them on top of the black strip on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the black side is facing up. Make sure the dies do NOT overlap. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick as needed to remove the pieces.
One at a time, carefully remove the protective backings from the backs of the bat cut outs and adhere them to the front and inside back of the card as shown.
