Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Old Olive Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Real Red Cardstock
- 3-3/4" x 5" from Old Olive Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 4-1/2" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1" x 1-1/2" from Whisper White Cardstock
- scrap of Real Red Cardstock at least 1-1/2" wide
- scrap of Whisper White Cardstock at least 1-1/2" wide
Place the Old Olive rectangle into the Holly Embossing Folder. Place the folder with the card stock inside on top of a Cutting Pad on your Big Shot Platform at the lowest possible setting. Place another Cutting Pad on top of the folder and run through the Big Shot.
Adhere the dry embossed Old Olive rectangle to the large rectangle of Real Red and then to the front of the Old Olive card.
Unlock the Cat Punch. Hold the punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide one end of the large white rectangle into the punch and punch. Slide the cardstock over a bit and punch out another cat.
Flip one cat over so they each face a different direction.
Mount the cat face image from the Spooky Cat Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Basic Black Archival Ink Pad. Stamp the face on one cat's head. Re-ink the stamp and stamp on the other cat's head.
Cut two pieces of Real Red 1/8" Solid Ribbon each 1-1/2" long.
Wrap the ribbon pieces around the cats' necks and adhere in place on the back using pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Wrap Old Olive Baker's Twine randomly around one cat, leaving one end hanging free near the tail. Adhere the baker's twine to the back of the cat using Tear & Tape Adhesive and Mini Glue Dots. Repeat with the other cat, but this time leave a long free end near the cat's neck.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape Adhesive on the back of the cats and add more adhesive if needed. Adhere the cats to the front of the card so their heads are about 1/2" from the top of the dry embossed green layer and they are centered with a little space between them.
Mount the "Have a Jolly Christmas!" sentiment from the Santa's Suit Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Old Olive Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the scrap of white cardstock.
Unlock the 1" Circle Punch. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped sentiment into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch.
Unlock the 1-1/4" Circle Punch. Insert the scrap of Real Red Cardstock. Punch.
Adhere the sentiment circle to the center of the red circle.
Adhere the matted sentiment circle to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals so it covers the bottom of the cats' feet and is centered.
Mount the outline of the pair of mittens tied together image from the Santa's Suit Set to Block A. Ink it up with the Old Olive Ink Pad. Stamp on the small rectangle of white cardstock.
Mount the striped mittens inside image to Block A. Ink it up with the Old Olive Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the outline mittens image.
Pick out the matching mittens framelit from the Santa Builder Framelits. Place the stamped mittens image on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the mittens framelit on top so it is centered over the image. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the mittens cut out to the card front so it is centered between the cats and just overlaps the sentiment circle a bit.
