Ringed With Nature Sweet Flower Thoughts

Supplies needed:

Project Recipe:

1. Cut cardstock, designer paper, and Adhesive Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
   - card from Pool Party Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
   - 4" x 5-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
   - 3" x 3-7/8" of rows of tiny white lines on Pool Party background design from Subtles 6" x 6 Designer Series Paper, cut so the lines are vertical on the horizontal rectangle
   - 2-1/8" x 3-7/8" of rows of white dots on Pool Party background design from Subtles 6" x 6 Designer Series Paper
   - 2-1/2" square from Basic White Cardstock
   - 2" x 6" from Basic White Cardstock
   - 1-1/2" x 3" from Garden Green Cardstock
   - 1-3/8" x 2-7/8" from Adhesive Sheets

2. Adhere the piece of white lines on Pool Party background Subtles Designer Paper to the top of the vertical, large, white rectangle leaving a small amount of white showing on the top, left, and right edges.

3. Adhere the piece of white dots on Pool Party background Subtles Designer Paper to the bottom of the vertical, large, white rectangle leaving a small amount of white showing on the bottom, left, and right edges. It will overlap the top piece of designer paper a tiny amount.

4. Cut a 4-1/2" piece of the Sweet Sorbet 1/4" Bordered Ribbon.

5. Lay the ribbon across the matted cardstock/designer paper rectangle so it covers the seam between the two pieces of designer paper. Fold the ends of the ribbon over and secure the ribbon in place on the back with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.

6. Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the white rectangle. Adhere the rectangle to the front of the Pool Party card.

7. As you are ready to stamp using the Ringed With Nature Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.

8. Mount the "thinking of you," "love & warmth," or "just for you" sentiment from the Ringed With Nature Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Pool Party Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the white square.

9. Pick out the stitched, scallop-edged circle die from the All That Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the sentiment. Run through the machine.

10. Adhere the sentiment circle cut out to the front of the card so it just overlaps the ribbon on the right side and is about 3/4" from the right side of the card.

11. Mount the large, single flower image from the Ringed With Nature Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Sweet Sorbet Ink Pad. Stamp it three times onto the long, white strip leaving room to cut them out. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time.

12. Cut out all three flower images by hand using Paper Snips Scissors.

13. Adhere one flower cut out to the card front using Stampin' Seal so it overlaps the upper left side of the sentiment circle cut out a bit.

14. Adhere the other two flower cut outs to the front of the card using Stampin' Dimensionals so they overlap the bottom right side of the sentiment circle and the upper left side of the sentiment circle and the first flower a bit as shown.

15. Peel the protective backing off of the Adhesive Sheets rectangle. Adhere it to one side of the Garden Green rectangle. Be sure to leave the other protective backing in place for now.

16. Pick out the complete leaf and berries die from the dies included with the Tree Rings Hybrid Embossing Folder. Put it on top of one side of the Garden Green rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the green side is face up. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces. Repeat with the other side of the Garden Green rectangle.

17. One at a time, carefully remove the protective backings from the backs of the leaf and berries cut outs. Adhere them to the front of the card as shown so the bases of the leaf sprigs are tucked under the flowers.

18. Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 3 large and 2 small blue flowers from a sheet of Adhesive-Backed Hearts & Flowers making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere the large flowers to the centers of the flower cut outs on the front of the card. Adhere one small one to the upper right side of the sentiment circle cut out as shown. Adhere the remaining small one to the center of one of the circles in the bottom left corner of the designer paper on the front of the card.

19. Cut a 9" piece of the Sweet Sorbet 1/4" Bordered Ribbon.

20. Tie a small bow in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.

21. Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon bow to the front of the card as shown so it is centered at a slight angle over the ribbon where it goes under the left side of the sentiment circle cut out.
