Poppin' By Bowl Of Popcorn

Supplies needed:

Project Recipe:

1. Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
   - card from Darling Duckling Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
   - 3-1/4" x 4-1/2" from Real Red Cardstock
   - 3-1/8" x 4-3/8" from Darling Duckling Cardstock
   - 1-3/4" x 3" from Basic White Cardstock
   - 7 strips each 1/4" x 1-3/4" from Real Red Cardstock
   - 1-1/2" x 11" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
   - 1/2" x 2-1/8" from Real Red Cardstock

2. Work on top of a piece of Grid Paper to protect your work surface.

3. Mount the "POP" sentiment from the Poppin' By Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Real Red Ink Pad. Stamp it all over the front of the Darling Duckling cart. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Change the orientation a bit each time. Let some of the images go off the edges.

4. Put the Darling Duckling rectangle inside the So Swirly Embossing Folder. Use the line printed on the front of the folder to make sure it is straight. Close the folder and put it on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.

5. Adhere the dry embossed Darling Duckling rectangle to the center of the large Real Red rectangle and then to the front of the stamped card so it is centered.

6. Working on top of the Silicone Craft Sheet so that glue doesn't stick to your work surface, adhere the thin Real Red strips vertically across the horizontal white rectangle so they are evenly spaced.

7. Pick out the circle die that cuts out a 2-5/8" circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies. Put it on top of the red striped white rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so you'll cut out a half circle. Run through the machine.

8. Adhere the "bowl" cut out to the front of the card so it is close to the bottom and left edges of the dry embossed Darling Duckling rectangle. Try not to get adhesive near the top, flat edge of the cut out so you can tuck the popcorn cutouts behind it in a later step.

9. Pick out all three of the open popcorn pieces dies and their solid interior pieces from the Poppin' By Dies. Put the open dies on top of the vanilla strip on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine with the interior pieces nestled inside. Do NOT let the dies overlap. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces. Repeat. Repeat one more time with one of the sets of dies so you have seven popcorn cut outs.

10. Rub a Sponge Dauber across the open Darling Duckling Ink Pad to get it inky. Lightly rub the inky dauber over the edges of the popcorn cut outs. Get more ink on the Sponge Dauber as needed.

11. Use Stampin' Seal and Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the popcorn cut outs in place on the card front as shown. Tuck some of the popcorn behind the top of the bowl. Adhere one popcorn cut out to the bottom right edge of the bowl.

12. Unlock the Happy Labels Pick A Punch. Slide one short edge of the 1/2" wide Real Red strip into the left side of the punch (the side of the punch with the larger scallops) as far as it will go and get it centered. Punch. Repeat on the other end.

13. Mount the "enjoy" sentiment from the Poppin' By Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Tuxedo Black Memento Pad. Stamp it on the right end of the punched Real Red strip.

14. Adhere the sentiment strip to the front of the card as shown so it overlaps the upper right side of the matted, dry embossed Darling Duckling rectangle.

15. Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 large Darling Duckling pearl from the 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the left side of the sentiment strip as shown.

16. Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the Black & Very Vanilla 3/8" Large Check Ribbon.

17. Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.

18. Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the front of the card at a slight angle as shown so it is centered over the bottom left corner of the matted dry embossed Darling Duckling rectangle.
