Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Pink Pirouette Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Sweet Sugarplum Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" of black, outlined feathers on white background design from Just Add Color Specialty Designer Series Paper, cut so feathers are vertical
- 2-1/8" square from Sweet Sugarplum Cardstock
- 2" square from Whisper White Cardstock
- scrap of Sweet Sugarplum Cardstock at least 1-1/2" wide
- scrap of Whisper White Cardstock at least 1-1/2" wide
Make sure you have some Grid Paper on your work surface to protect it from ink.
Roll the Sponge Brayer across the open Pink Pirouette Ink Pad to get it inky. Then, roll it repeatedly onto the Just Add Color Designer Paper piece. Get more ink on the brayer as needed. Keep adding ink until you have the color saturation you want.
Tip: I just clean my Sponge Brayers when I'm done using them by running them under water until no more color is coming off. Then, I let them air dry. They may be stained, but they are clean enough to use with any color of ink in the future.
Adhere the inked designer paper to the Sweet Sugarplum rectangle and then to the front of the Pink Pirouette card.
Mount the flamingo image from the Pop of Paradise Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Sweet Sugarplum Ink Pad. Place the inky stamp face up on the work surface in front of you. Do NOT stamp it onto cardstock yet!
Rub a Sponge Dauber across the open Berry Burst Ink Pad to get it inky. Then, dab it lightly onto the inked up flamingo image on the beak and the back. Get more ink on the dauber as needed. Keep adding ink until you have the color saturation you want.
Breathe on the stamp to moisten the ink. Stamp on the white square so you get the top of the bird.
Adhere the stamped flamingo white square to the Sweet Sugarplum square then to the front of the card about 1" from the top.
Mount the hello circle from the Pop of Paradise Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Sweet Sugarplum Ink Pad. Place the inky stamp face up on the work surface in front of you. Do NOT stamp it onto cardstock yet!
Rub a Sponge Dauber across the open Berry Burst Ink Pad to get it inky. Then, dab it lightly onto the inked up hello circle image in the center. Get more ink on the dauber as needed. Keep adding ink until you have the color saturation you want.
Tip: I just clean my Sponge Daubers when I'm done using them by running them under water until no more color is coming off. Then, I let them air dry. They may be stained, but they are clean enough to use with any color of ink in the future.
Breathe on the stamp to moisten the ink. Stamp on the scrap of white cardstock.
Unlock the 1-1/4" Circle Punch. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped hello circle image into the punch. Center the image in the punching area. Punch.
If needed, roll or lightly rub the very edge of the punched out hello circle across the Sweet Sugarplum Ink Pad to ink up the edges.
Unlock the 1-3/8" Circle Punch. Slide the scrap of Sweet Sugarplum cardstock into the punch. Punch.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the hello circle punch out to the center of the Sweet Sugarplum circle.
Adhere the matted circles to the card front so they cover the lower left corner of the flamingo square.
Cut a 4" piece of Berry Burst 1/2" Finely Woven Ribbon. Tie a half knot in the center. Trim the ends.
Adhere the ribbon knot to the card front with a Mini Glue Dot at an angle where the sentiment circle and flamingo squares meet.
Pick out one of the Sweet Sugarplum shapes from the 2016-2018 In Color Glitter Acrylic Shapes. Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere it to the card front in the upper right corner of the flamingo squares.
