Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Marina Mist Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Old Olive Cardstock
- 3-1/2" square from Marina Mist Cardstock
- 2" x 2-3/4" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 3" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- scrap of Daffodil Delight Cardstock at least 1" square
Mount either the word "money" or the word "change" from the Pocketful of Sunshine Set on Block B or Block G. Ink it up with the Old Olive Ink Pad. Stamp it along the very bottom of the Old Olive rectangle so that the first letter of the word is in the center of the cardstock.
Mount the "a little pocket" sentiment from the Pocketful of Sunshine Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Dapper Denim Ink Pad. Stamp it on the bottom of the Old Olive rectangle so the "t" at the end of the word "pocket" overlaps the first letter of the other word just a bit at the top.
Adhere the stamped Old Olive rectangle to the front of the Marina Mist card.
Mount the scratchy background image from the You've Got This Set on Block E. Ink it up with the Dapper Denim Ink Pad. Stamp off one time by stamping on scratch paper. Then, stamp it in the center of the Marina Mist rectangle.
Mount the pocket outline image from the Pocketful of Sunshine Set on Block E. Ink it up with the Early Espresso Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the stamped scratchy background on the Marina Mist rectangle.
Mount the lines of straight stitching image from the Pocketful of Sunshine Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Early Espresso Ink Pad. Stamp it along the top of the pocket image.
Pick out the pocket framelit from the Pocket Framelits. Place the stamped pocket image on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the pocket framelit on top so it is centered over the stamped pocket image. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Use a Bone Folder to fold the tabs along the sides and bottom of the pocket cut out.
Mount the open rectangle tag image from the Pocketful of Sunshine Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Early Espresso Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the scrap of Daffodil Delight Cardstock.
Pick out one of the tiny, single words or abbreviations images from the Pocketful of Sunshine Set. Mount it on Block A. Ink it up with the Early Espresso Ink Pad. Stamp it inside the open rectangle tag image.
Pick out the tag framelit from the Pocket Framelits. Place the stamped tag image on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the tag framelit on top so it is centered over the image with the tag portion on the right and the tab part on the left. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Put strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive on the tabs on the back of the pocket cut out. Use Paper Snips to trim off excess Tear & Tape Adhesive along the edges if desired. Make sure NOT to get any adhesive along the top of the pocket or in the center.
Peel off the protective backing from the Tear & Tape on the tab that will be on the right side of the pocket when the pocket is face up. Adhere the tag to the bottom so it will be on the bottom right of the pocket when the pocket is face up.
Remove the protective backings from the rest of the tabs on the pocket and carefully adhere the pocket to the front of the card so the bottom tip of the pocket is in the center right over the stamped words. You should have about 3/4" on either side of the pocket and about 1-3/4" above the pocket.
Mount the folded money image from the Pocketful of Sunshine Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Old Olive Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the 1-3/4" x 2-3/4" strip of vanilla cardstock.
Tip: For a good solid image, you might want to place the cardstock on top of the Stampin' Pierce Mat before stamping.
Pick out the matching folded money framelit from the Pocket Framelits. Place the stamped folded money image on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the folded money framelit on top so it is centered over the stamped image. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Lightly crumple one end of the folded money image with your fingers.
Get some Crumb Cake Ink on the Sponge Dauber by rubbing the dauber across the open ink pad. Then, rub the inked up Sponge Dauber across the crumpled end of the folded money image. Add more ink as desired by getting more ink on the dauber as needed.
Put SNAIL on the back of the folded money image and slide it into the pocket on the card front so it sticks out the top of the pocket on the right side.
Mount the sunglasses image from the Pocketful of Sunshine Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Early Espresso Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the remaining strip of vanilla cardstock.
Tip: For a good solid image, you might want to place the cardstock on top of the Stampin' Pierce Mat before stamping.
Pick out the sunglasses framelit from the Pocket Framelits. Place the stamped sunglasses image on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the sunglasses framelit on top so it is centered over the stamped image. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Use the brush tip of the Daffodil Delight Marker to color in the frames of the sunglasses.
Put SNAIL adhesive on the back of the sunglasses on the left lens ONLY (left side when the sunglasses are face up). Adhere to the left side of the pocket on the card front so they appear to be tucked into the pocket using the ear pieces. Make sure there is NO adhesive on the right side of the glasses and kind of tuck the right lens into the top of the pocket a bit.
Add a small silver circle Metallic Enamel Shape to the right side of the pocket at the end of the straight line of stitching.
Add some real folded money or a gift card to the pocket if desired before sending the card off to brighten someone's day.
