Plentiful Plants Greenhouse Lattice |
P retty card for a friend using Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Just Jade Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" of closely packed tropical foliage on white background design from Bloom Where You're Planted 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, cut so the design is vertical on the vertical rectangle
- 2" x 2-3/4" from Just Jade Cardstock OR plant leaves cut from Bloom Where You're Planted 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper using Perfect Plants die
- 1-3/4" square from Cinnamon Cider Cardstock OR pot cut from Bloom Where You're Planted 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper using Perfect Plants die
- 1-3/4" x 3-3/4" from Cinnamon Cider Cardstock
- 1/2" x 3-1/2" from Just Jade Cardstock
Pick out one Paper Lattice. Use Mulitpurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen behind the solid dots on the Paper Lattice to adhere it to the center of the large vertical rectangle of Bloom Where You're Planted 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper.
Unlock the Lovely Labels Pick A Punch. Slide one short edge of the thin Just Jade strip into the right side of the punch (the side of the punch with the flatter top) as far as it will go and get it centered. Punch.
As you are ready to stamp using the Plentiful Plants Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "To a dear friend," "Love you," or "You touched my heart" sentiment from the Plentiful Plants Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Evening Evergreen Ink Pad. Stamp it on the punched strip so the punched end is on the left and the left end of the sentiment is about 3/8" from the left edge.
Adhere the stamped and punched sentiment strip to the lower right side of the designer paper/paper lattice so the bottom of the strip is about 3/4" from the bottom of the designer paper and the punched end of the strip is on the left and the right edge of the strip goes off the right edge. Use Paper Snips scissors to cut off excess on the right edge.
Adhere the 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Bloom Where You're Planted 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper to the front of the Just Jade card.
Mount the flower pot image from the Plentiful Plants Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Cinnamon Cider Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Cinnamon Cider square.
Note: If you are doing the less stamping version of this card, skip this step.
Pick out the flower pot die from the Perfect Plants Dies. Put it on top of the stamped flower pot image or a flower pot roughly cut from a piece of Bloom Where You're Planted 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the flower pot image is centered in the die. Run through the machine.
Mount the large, multi-leaved plant image from the Plentiful Plants Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Evening Evergreen Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Just Jade rectangle.
Note: If you are doing the less stamping version of this card, skip this step.
Pick out the matching, multi-leaved plant die from the Perfect Plants Dies. Put it on top of the stamped plant leaves image or a plant leaves image roughly cut from a piece of Bloom Where You're Planted 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the plant leaves image is centered in the die. Run through the machine.
Pick out the macrame potted plant hanger die from the Perfect Plants Dies. Put it on top of the Cinnamon Cider rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Working on the Silicone Craft Sheet so it is easy to remove pieces that have adhesive on them, use the Mulitpurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen on the bottom part of the macrame hanger cut out to adhere it over the top of the flower pot cut out.
Working on the Silicone Craft Sheet so it is easy to remove pieces that have adhesive on them, use the Mulitpurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen on the top part of the macrame hanger cut out to adhere it over the top of the plant leaves cut out. Let one of the leaves on the left overlap the top of the left string of the macrame hanger. Make sure the bottom of the plant leaves cut out is hidden behind the top of the flower pot.
Working on the Silicone Craft Sheet so it is easy to remove pieces that have adhesive on them, use the Mulitpurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen on the macrame hanger with pot and plant in place to adhere them to the front of the card so the hole in the top of the macrame hanger is centered over the second dot from the left at the top of the Paper Lattice.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the Old Olive/Pretty Peacock 3/8" Reversible Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the front of the card so it is centered over the hole in the top of the macrame hanger.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up a large Evening Evergreen jewel from a sheet of 2021-2023 In Color Jewels making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the card front on the left end of the sentiment punch out in the center.
