Pierced Blooms Watercolor |
|
U se watercolor paper and Stampin' Up's Pierced Blooms dies to make this beautiful card.
Cut Gorgeous Grape Cardstock (CS) 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" scored at 4-1/4" to form card base. Burnish crease using a Bone Folder.
Cut Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper at 4" x 5-1/4". Tape down the edges with Painters Tape so the paper stays flat. Put a drop of Pool Party ink in lid of Pool Party ink pad. Use Water Painter and paint the watercolor paper with Pool Party. Give it plenty of time to dry.
Using scraps of Watercolor Paper, use all the other colors of ink refills and paint a section for each color and let dry.
Run Basic White CS through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine (SCEM) with the label die from Pierced Blooms. Using Blender Brush and Highland Heather ink, tint the label pale purple. Stamp using Gorgeous Grape ink and a sentiment from the In Bloom stamp set.
When the watercoloring has dried, run through SCEM with flowers, stems, leaves, and heart from Stitched Be Mine die set. Adhere diecuts to Pool Party background and onto the card base. Pop up with Stampin' Dimesionals some of the flowers, heart, label, etc.
Cut 4" x 5-1/4" Basic White CS for the inside of the card. Decorate the inside and envelope to match the card. Pop the card in the mail to make someone's day. Email me at Beth@StampingMom.com with questions.
