Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a cutting and scoring tool:
- card from Coastal Cabana Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 3-3/4" x 5" from Pacific Point Cardstock
- 2-1/8" x 3-3/8" from Coastal Cabana Cardstock
- 2" x 3-1/4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- scrap of multi-colored, overlapping crosshatches design from Follow Your Art Designer Series Paper at least 1-1/4" wide
- scrap of So Saffron vellum from Perennial Essence 12" x 12" Vellum Cardstock at least 1" wide
Lightly spray the Pacific Point rectangle with water. This will help you get a deeper impression when you dry emboss it.
Insert the damp Pacific Point rectangle into the Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder at an angle so the lines will be diagonal. Run the folder with the paper inside through your die cutting and embossing tool. Set aside to allow to dry.
As you are ready to stamp using the Piece of Cake Photopolymer Set, place the cardstock or designer paper on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the sentiment of choice from the Piece of Cake Set on the appropriate sized block. Ink it up with the Pacific Point Ink Pad. Stamp in the center of the white rectangle about ¼” from bottom.
Mount the set of 5 candles image from the Piece of Cake Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Pacific Point Ink Pad. Stamp in the center of the previously stamped white rectangle so it is about ¼” from top.
Use the fine tip on the Markers to color in the candles and the flames.
Mount the cake with stripes and dots image from the Piece of Cake Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Pacific Point Ink Pad. Stamp it on the scrap of Follow Your Art Designer Paper.
Unlock the Cake Buider Punch. Hold the punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Get the cake image centered in the corresponding punching area. Punch. Leave the punch unlocked.
Slide the scrap of So Saffron vellum into the punch. Get it centered in the cake stand punching area. Punch.
Use a couple of Mini Glue Dots or some SNAIL to adhere the vellum cake stand punch out to the white rectangle so it is centered just above the sentiment.
Use SNAIL to adhere the cake punch out to the top of the vellum cake stand in the center. It should cover the bottom of the candles a bit.
Adhere the white rectangle to the Coastal Cabana rectangle.
If the dry embossed Pacific Point rectangle is dry, proceed with the next step. Speed up drying by using the Heat Tool if needed.
Cut a 4-1/4” piece of Whisper White 5/8" Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the center of the dry embossed Pacific Point rectangle. Flip the cardstock over and adhere the ends of the ribbon in place with small pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the adhesive and add more strips of Tear & Tape to the edges on the back of the dry embossed Pacific Point rectangle. Adhere it to the front of the Coastal Cabana card in the center.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the matted white rectangle to the front of the card in the center.
Cut a 4” piece of Whisper White 5/8" Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the center of the ribbon on the right side of the matted white cardstock.
