Cut cardstock, designer paper, and foil sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 1-1/4" x 5-1/2" of small Daffodil Delight gingham pattern from Gingham Gala 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
- 1-1/4" x 5-1/2" of small Lemon Lime Twist gingham pattern from Gingham Gala 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
- 1-1/4" x 5-1/2" of small Balmy Blue gingham pattern from Gingham Gala 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
- 2" x 4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 3" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 3" from Silver Foil Sheets
- scrap of Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock at least 1-1/2" wide
Adhere the three strips of Gingham Gala 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper to the front of the Lemon Lime Twist card so there is a little space between each strip and above and below the strips.
Tip: Lay the pieces on the front of the card WITHOUT adhering them to get the spacing right. Then, adhere the strips in place one at a time.
Unlock the Banner Triple Punch. Slide one end of the 2" x 4" strip of Whisper White Cardstock into the punch as far as it will go. Punch.
As you are ready to stamp using the Piece of Cake Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the cake with diagonal stripes on the top layer and polka dots on the bottom layer image from the Piece of Cake Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Lemon Lime Twist Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the 1-1/2" x 3" white strip.
Unlock the Cake Builder Punch. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped cake image into the punch and get it centered in the corresponding punching area. Punch. Leave the punch unlocked. Keep the remaining piece of the strip of white cardstock.
Use the Markers to color in the punched out cake image as desired.
Holding the Cake Builder Punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the Silver Foil Sheets strip into the punch and get it lined up in the cake stand punching area. Punch.
WITHOUT adhering, lay the cake stand punch out and the cake punch out on the punched white banner so the bottom of the cake stand is just above the notch in the banner.
Mount the set of 5 candles image from the Piece of Cake Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Lemon Lime Twist Ink Pad. Stamp it on the white banner so the bottoms of the candles will be hidden by the top of the cake punch out.
Use the Markers to color in the candles as desired.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the cake punch out to the stamped banner so that the bottoms of the candles are covered by the top of the cake.
Use tiny pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive to adhere the cake stand punch out to the white banner so it appears that the cake is sitting on the top of the stand.
Adhere the banner to the front of the card so the top of the banner is even with the top of the top strip of designer paper and the left side of the banner is about 1" from the left side of the card.
Mount the "Count the Good Times..." sentiment from the Piece of Cake Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Balmy Blue Ink Pad. Stamp it on the other end of the already punched strip of white cardstock.
Unlock the 1" Circle Punch. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped sentiment into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch.
Unlock the 1-1/4" Circle Punch. Slide the Lemon Lime Twist scrap into the punch. Punch.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment circle punch out to the center of the Lemon Lime Twist circle.
Adhere the matted sentiment circles to the card front so it overlaps the right side of the white banner a bit and is centered over the space between the top two strips of designer paper.
Cut a 4" piece of Lemon Lime Twist 1/4" Ombre Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Using a Mini Glue Dot, adhere the ribbon knot to the front of the card so it is centered over the leg of the cake stand.
