Pick a Pennant Birthday
M ake a masculine birthday card using Pick a Pennant stamp set with Fresh Fig and Smoky Slate colors.
Fresh Fig 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at half
Basic Gray 5 1/4 x 4
Whisper White 4 3/4 x 3 1/2, 5 x 4
Use the Simple Stripes embossing folder with the Basic Gray card stock. Adhere to the card front.
Line up the banner piece stamp on your stamp block. Place the framelit over the stamp to ensure it will line up when cutting out. Take the framelit off and stamp in Smoky Slate onto Whisper White.
Cut out with the framelit.
Take the letter from Pick a Pennant stamp set and line them up on the acrylic block. I used Block H. See picture how to position them.
Ink each letter with the Memento Tuxedo Black and stamp individually on the banner. (Ink the stamps by using just the corner of the ink pad so you are only inking one letter at a time.)
With a fine line of the Multipurpose Glue, adhere to the smaller piece of Whisper White.
Trim off the ends of the banners with your scissors.
From the Amazing Life stamp set, stamp the cake on a scrap of Whisper White. Find the circle framelit that just fits the cake. Cutout the cake. With the Stitched Circles, cutout the mat circle in Fresh Fig.
Adhere the banner piece of Whisper White to the card front. Add the circle cake piece with dimensionals.
In Fresh Fig, stamp the inside piece of Whisper White with "Yay" and "Happy Birthday". Adhere to the inside.
