Peaceful Deer Door Hanger |
|
I found this easier to do on the score board, then the cut/score trimmer.
1. Real Red C/S: 8-1/2" X 10-1/2"
2. On the 10-1/2 side score @ 1/2", 2-1/2", 5-1/2", 7-1/2".
3. On the 8-1/2" side score @ 2".
Also score at 5" BUT ONLY to the 2nd score line.
Flip to other 8-1/2" side and score at 3-1/2" ONLY to the 2nd score line.
DSP 6" x 2-3/4" for long hanger
DSP box- 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" (2)
1-3/4" x 2-3/4" (2)
White scraps- 2-3/4 (2) and I tore them to make hills for snow.
White 2-1/2" x 2-1/2".
1.Turn Cardstock so the 1/4" seam is on the left. Cut off left side seam at the top, and box next to it.
2.Cut off small 1/4" seam/box at bottom left.
3.Cut off on the upper right side, the top 2 boxes.
4. Fold on remaining score lines and cut seams up to the 2" mark. Notch small flaps for easy folding.
Assembly:
Glue DSP on large flap. Fold sides in, and use a circle die to place in center of long flap. Cut out a circle using your die machine. Cut a matching scallop circle a size larger than the 1st, to place over hole for decoration.
Round edges with corner rounder.
Place DSP on all 4 sides, and assemble box using tear tape.
Trees are stamped full strength, and the lighter ones are stamped off 1st, then stamped on white c/s.
Tear strips of paper, and glue together.
Use snowfall puff paint, to cover strips, and heat with embossing tool. Allow to cool, then glue on box.
Stamp deer on Sahara Sand in black ink, and cut out with scissors. Pop on box with dimentional.
Fill cello bag, and ready to hang!
