Paradise Palms Tahitian Beach Thanks |
B each scene thank you card made with Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock and Adhesive Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Tahitian Tide Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Crumb Cake Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8"" from Tahitian Tide Cardstock
- 3-1/4" x 5" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 3" x 4-1/4" of lighter blue Tahitian Tide glimmer paper from 2022-2024 In Color 6" x 6" Glimmer Paper
- 2-3/4" x 3-3/4" from Soft Suede Cardstock
- 2-5/8" x 3-5/8" from Adhesive Sheets
- 1" x 6" from Crumb Cake Cardstock
- 1" square from Daffodil Delight Cardstock
Pick out the tall, complete, single palm tree die from the Palms Dies and the long, skinny, wavy top die from the Horizon Dies. Put both dies on top of the 3-1/4" x 5" Very Vanilla rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Make sure the dies do NOT overlap. Run through the machine. Leave the wavy top die from the Horizon Dies out.
Put the long, skinny, wavy top die from the Horizon Dies on top of the 1" x 6" Crumb Cake rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Keep both pieces.
Pick out the long, skinny, swoosh die from the Horizon Dies. Put it on top of the Tahitian Tide glimmer paper on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine near one long edge. Run through the machine. Continue to cut out swooshes from the glimmer paper until you have four pieces.
WITHOUT ADHERING, lay the wavy vanilla, wavy Crumb Cake, and glimmer paper swoosh cut outs on the bottom of the vertical 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" Tahitian Tide rectangle so they overlap each other a bit and form sand and waves.
Mount the "thank you" or "congrats" sentiment from the Celebrating You Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Tahitian Tide Ink Pad. Stamp it just above the glimmer paper pieces so it is centered side to side.
Now, adhere the wavy vanilla, wavy Crumb Cake, and glimmer paper swoosh cut outs in place one at a time so they overlap each other and create the sand and waves. You may need to trim the ends off some of the glimmer paper swooshes and use them to fill in any blank spaces for the waves. Use Paper Snips Scissors to trim off excess cardstock and glimmer paper along the left, bottom, and right edges.
Lay the vanilla palm tree cut out on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface.
Use the Granny Apple Green and Garden Green Stampin' Write Markers to color in the fronds at the top of the palm tree cut out. Create stripes of the two colors of green to make it look more like palm fronds.
Use the Crumb Cake and Soft Suede Stampin' Write Markers to color in the trunk of the palm tree cut out. Create thin stripes of the two colors to make the trunk look more realistic.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the colored palm tree cut out to the stamped and layered Tahitian Tide rectangle so the palm tree is on the right side and the base of the tree is somewhere on the "sand" layers.
Peel the protective backing off of the Adhesive Sheets rectangle. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets rectangle to one side of the Soft Suede rectangle. Be sure to leave the other protective backing in place for now.
Pick out both fence dies from the Horizon Dies. Put them on top of the Soft Suede rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the Soft Suede (brown) side is face up. Make sure the dies do NOT overlap. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick and/or Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip to remove the pieces.
One at a time, carefully remove the protective backing from the fence cut outs. Adhere them to the bottom of the stamped and layered Tahitian Tide rectangle as shown leaving a gap between the two fence pieces in the center. Use Paper Snips Scissors to trim off excess fence pieces on the left and right sides.
Adhere the stamped and layered Tahitian Tide rectangle to the center of the 4" x 5-1/4" Crumb Cake rectangle and then to the front of the Tahitian Tide card.
Mount the small circle image from the Paradise Palms Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Daffodil Delight Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Daffodil Delight square.
Pick out the small circle die from the Palms Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sun image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the image is centered in the die. Run through the machine.
Use a Stampin' Dimensional to adhere the sun cut out to the upper left corner of the card front.
Mount the set of coconuts image from the Paradise Palms Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Crumb Cake Ink Pad. Stamp it on the remaining bit of the 1" x 6" Crumb Cake rectangle.
Pick out the small, matching, set of coconuts die from the Palms Dies. Put it on top of the stamped coconuts image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the image is centered in the die. Run through the machine.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the coconuts cut out to the front of the card so it is centered over the top of the palm tree trunk near the base of the palm tree fronds.
