Paper Pumpkin March 2021 scenic alternate card |

T his card uses pieces from the March 2021 Paper Pumpkin kit. It is a card that could be used for lots of occasions.

Card Base: You can use the Pretty Peacock card base that comes in the March Paper Pumpkin kit. You can also use Pretty Peacock paper to make your card base, to do that cut 8 ½ X 11 Pretty Peacock paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Front Insert: Cut the mountain scene from the Petal Pink card base, keeping a ½’ of Petal Pink around the mountain scene.
Card Front: Cut wood grain paper from the 3 7/8 X 5 ⅛. Use the largest square from the layering squares die set to cut a square opening in the wood grain paper.
Attach mini dimensionals (there were some included in the Paper Pumpkin kit) on the outside edge of the mountain scene piece. Attach the wood grain card front over the mountain scene lining up the opening. Add additional dimensionals to the back of the wood grain paper at the top and bottom.
Add the Pretty Peacock trees cutout from the kit to the card front, lining it up with the lower edge of the opening. Wrap twine 3 times around the bottom edge of the card front attaching it to the back of the card front.
Attach the wood grain/mountain scene piece to the card base.
