Pansy Patch Peekaboo Strip |
P retty card using Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Fresh Freesia Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 3-1/4" x 5-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 2" x 5-1/4" of multicolored small pansies, flowers, stems, and leaves on pale green background design from Pansy Petals 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, cut so the pansies are vertical on the vertical rectangle
- 2-1/2" square from Blackberry Bliss Cardstock
- 2-1/4" square from Fresh Freesia Cardstock
- 2-1/4" square from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-1/2" square from Basic White Cardstock
Adhere the strip of Pansy Petals Designer Paper vertically down the right side of the 4" x 5-1/4" vertical white rectangle so the right edge of the designer paper is about 3/4" from the right edge of the cardstock. The top and bottom edges will be even.
Pick out the solid, long, skinny, scalloped-edge die from the Peony Dies. Put it horizontally on top of the horizontal 3-1/4" x 5-1/4" white rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the scalloped-edges are pointing down and are about 2" from the top of the cardstock. Run through the machine. KEEP BOTH PIECES!
Adhere the larger white rectangle with the curved scalloped edges and dry embossing to the left side of the white/designer paper rectangle so the scallops just cover the left edge of the designer paper strip. The top and bottom edges should be even.
Adhere the smaller white rectangle with the spiky scalloped edges to the right side of the white/designer paper rectangle so the scallops just cover the right edge of the designer paper strip. The top and bottom edges should be even.
Use Paper Snips Scissors to trim excess white cardstock off on the left and right edges.
Adhere the layered white scalloped cardstock strips and designer paper strip on the large white rectangle to the front of the Fresh Freesia card.
As you are ready to stamp using the Pansy Patch Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the wider sentiment of choice from the Pansy Patch Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Blackberry Bliss Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the 2-1/4" white square.
Pick out the smooth circle die that cuts out a 1-7/8" circle from the Layering Circles Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the sentiment is centered in the circle. Run through the machine.
Pick out the scalloped circle die that cuts out a 2" scalloped circle from the Layering Circles Dies. Put it on top of the Fresh Freesia square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.

Adhere the layered circle sentiment cut outs to the front of the card on the lower left side as shown. Leave about 7/8" from the bottom of the circle cut out to the bottom of the card.
Mount the small, more detailed pansy flower image from the Pansy Patch Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Blackberry Bliss Ink Pad. Stamp the image in the center of the remaining, small white square.
Mount the small, more solid pansy flower image from the Pansy Patch Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Fresh Freesia Ink Pad. Stamp the image over the top of the small outline pansy image already stamped on the white square.
Mount the tiny triangle image from the Pansy Patch Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Blackberry Bliss Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the previously stamped pansy image.
Pick out the matching, open, small pansy flower die from the Pansy Dies. Put it on top of the stamped pansy on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the pansy is centered in the die. Run through the machine.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the pansy cut out to the front of the card at a slight angle so it overlaps the lower right side of the layered sentiment circle cut outs as shown.
Pick out a large flower from the Loose Flower Flourishes. Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the flower to the upper right corner of the card front.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up one small Fresh Freesia jewel from the sheet of 2021-2023 In Color Jewels making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the center of the Loose Flower Flourish. Press carefully into the center of the flower embellishment to make sure it sticks.
