Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Poppy Parade Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Basic Black Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1-3/4" x 3" from Whisper White Cardstock
Mount the tall, thin single poppy flower and bud image from the Painted Poppies Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Memento Pad. Stamp it on the large white rectangle (with the rectangle vertical) so the top of the flower is about 1-3/8" from the top edge and the point at the end of the leaf is about 7/8" from the left edge. Leave the stamp on the block.
Re-ink the tall, thin single poppy flower and bud image on Block H with the Memento Pad. Stamp it just to the left and slightly higher than the first stamped image (the bud should be just above the tip of the leaf of the first stamped image and the left edge of this image will go off the left edge of the cardstock). Re-ink the stamp and stamp it just to the right of the first stamped image so the top of the flower is just below the bud of the first image. Leave the stamp on the block.
Re-ink the tall, thin single poppy flower and bud image on Block H with the Memento Pad. Stamp it a few more times across the bottom of the stamped cardstock to fill in the space varying the height of the image a little each time. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. The images should go off the left, bottom, and right edges a bit.
Make sure you have some paper (Grid Paper works great) at your work space.to protect the work surface. The Stampin' Blends Markers will bleed through the cardstock that you are coloring so you need to protect your work surface.
Place the stamped white rectangle on the work paper and start coloring with the Stampin' Blends Markers. The markers have a brush tip for coloring in larger areas and a fine tip for coloring in smaller areas.
Use the Dark and Light Poppy Parade Markers to color in the flower and bud of the first image you stamped.
Use the Dark and Light Granny Apple Green Markers to color in the leaf and stems of the first image you stamped.
Use the Color Lifter Marker to remove any excess color as needed.
Mount the small splatter image from the Painted Poppies Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Poppy Parade Ink Pad. Stamp onto Grid Paper. WITHOUT RE-INKING, stamp the splatter just above and to the right of the colored poppy flower so the point of the rough triangle is pointing towards the upper right corner of the white rectangle.
Adhere the stamped and colored white rectangle to the Basic Black rectangle and then to the front of the Poppy Parade card.
Mount the sentiment of choice from the Peaceful Moments Set on an appropriate sized block. Ink it up with the Poppy Parade Ink Pad. Stamp it on the small white rectangle so it is slightly right of center.
Pick out the smaller label die with rounded ends from the Painted Labels Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool so the sentiment is centered up and down and slightly to the right of center. Run through the tool.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment cut out to the front of the card so it overlaps the bottom of the colored poppy flower stems (should be about 3/8" from right edge and about 7/8" from bottom edge).
Cut a 7" piece of Granny Apple Green 1/2" Textured Weave Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the card front at an angle so the knot is centered over the left edge of the sentiment cut out.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 5 rhinestones from a sheet of Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere three randomly to the card front over the splatter coming off the top of the colored flower. Adhere one to the center of the base of the colored flower. Adhere the final one to the center of the right edge of the sentiment label cut out.
