Painted poppies #2 |
T his card I made for a swap I participated in. I absolutely love this Peaceful poppies suite in the Jan-June 2020 catalog.

Fold poppy 5½ x 8½ cs in half to make your base card.
Run the peaceful poppies piece of designer series paper thru your die cutting machine with the layering squares dies and cut a square which will provide the poppy design on the other side of the designer series paper to layer in the next step. Being careful to have even layers on all sides. You will eventually cover this hole by layering over the top. This saves paper.
Layer your cut piece of peaceful poppy designer series paper ( 3 7/8 x 5 3/8) to the old olive piece (4 x 5 ¼). Also add the poppy paper that you die cut out to a layered square cut from old olive cs. Then add the poppy ribbon before attaching to the base card.
Stamp the poppy and greeting on a scrap of whisper white cs. Using the layering circles dies cut a white circle and an old olive layering scallop. Layer together and add with dimensionals over the poppy ribbon. Add some rhinestones.
