Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Whisper White Thick Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Basic Black Cardstock
- 4" x 5-1/4" of scattered white musical notes and snowflakes on black background design from Merry Music Specialty Designer Series Paper
- 1" x 3-3/4" from Whisper White Cardstock
Adhere the piece of Merry Music Specialty Designer Series Paper over the piece of Basic Black Cardstock. This will give the designer paper a little more sturdiness since this specialty paper is thin.
Pick out the 2, 0, 1, and 8 framelits from the Large Numbers Framelits. Place the designer paper/cardstock layer on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the number framelits on top so they spell out "2018" and are straight and evenly spaced across the designer paper about 3/4" from the top. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot. Save all the pieces!
Cut a 6" piece of Silver 1/8" Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the designer paper so it is about 1/4" below the cut out numbers. Flip the layer over and fold the ends of the ribbon over. Adhere the ends of the ribbon in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape strips and add more SNAIL to the back of the layer. Adhere the layer to the front of the Whisper White Thick card.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the numbers in their cut out holes so they are just slightly offset.
Pick out the "Happy New Year!" sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Wishes Set. Ink it up with the Basic Black Archival Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the white strip of cardstock.
Mount the outline banner image from the Number of Years Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Basic Black Archival Ink Pad. Stamp it on the white strip so it is centered over the sentiment.
Pick out the matching banner framelit from the Large Numbers Framelits. Place the stamped sentiment banner on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the banner framelit on top so it is centered over the image. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment banner to the card front so it is centered over the ribbon in the middle of the card.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of Silver 1/8" Ribbon. Slide one end under the right side of the ribbon on the card front near the end of the sentiment banner. Tie in place with a half knot. Trim the ends.
Randomly add 5 large Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.
