Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a cutting and scoring tool:
- card from Soft Suede Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Shaded Spruce Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 3" x 3-3/4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 2-1/4" x 3-1/2" from Whisper White Cardstock
- scrap of Gold Glimmer Paper
Open the Woodland Embossing Folder in front of you so the front of the folder (the side with the logo on it) is face down on your work surface.
Mount the deer image from the Nature's Beauty Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Soft Suede Ink Pad. Stamp it on the inside of the front flap of the Woodland Embossing Folder on the left side so the deer is mostly between two widely spaced trees near the bottom of the folder.
Tip: If some of the deer image got on the raised lines of the tree trunks, carefully wipe them off using a clean baby wipe.
Carefully place the largest white rectangle inside the folder so it is straight and the trees will be vertical on the horizontal rectangle. Close the folder. Place the folder with the paper inside on your die cutting and embossing tool and run through the machine.
When you remove the cardstock from the embossing folder, it should look as if the deer is behind the tree trunks on the right side of the rectangle.
If you are making multiples of this card, wipe off the ink from the inside of the embossing folder using a baby wipe and allow to dry before stamping the next deer image on the inside. If you are only making one of this card, you can just rinse the inside of the embossing folder with running water in the sink and allow it to air dry.
Mount the large pine tree image from the Winter Woods Set on Block E. Ink it up with the Shaded Spruce Ink Pad. Stamp in the center of the 3" x 3-3/4" Whisper White rectangle.
Pick out the large, open, pine tree die from the In The Woods Dies. Put it on top of the stamped pine tree image on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool so it is centered over the pine tree. Run through the tool.
Adhere the pine tree cut out to the dry embossed white rectangle on the right side so it covers some of the deer. The right edges may hang over the right side a bit. If they do, just trim off excess using Paper Snips.
Adhere the dry embossed white layer with pine tree attached to the Shaded Spruce rectangle and then to the front of the Soft Suede card.
Mount the sentiment from the Winter Woods Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Shaded Spruce Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the remaining, smaller rectangle of white cardstock.
Pick out the label die from the Stitched Nested Labels Dies that cuts out a label that is 1-1/2" wide. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool so it is centered over the sentiment. Run through the tool.
Tip: You may have to press fairly firmly along the edges of the die to pop the cut out loose.
Adhere the sentiment label cut out to the lower left side of the card front.
Pick out the swirls and stars die from the Stitched Stars Dies. Put it on top of the scrap of Gold Glimmer Paper on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool so you'll cut out the center of one of the smaller stars in the swirl. Run through the tool. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces. Keep one of the smaller solid stars.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the Glimmer Paper star cut out to the top of the pine tree.
If desired, use a Fine-Tip Glue Pen or Multipurpose Liquid Glue to draw fine lines of glue on some areas of the pine tree. Then, sprinkle on Dazzling Diamonds Stampin' Glitter and tap off excess onto a piece of Grid Paper. Return the excess glitter to the container to use again on a future project.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of Shaded Spruce/Gold 3/8" Striped Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the lower right corner of the sentiment cut out.
