Cut cardstock, designer paper, and foil sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Whisper White Thick Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Basic Black Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" of black snowflakes and musical notes on white background design from Merry Music Specialty Designer Series Paper
- 5/8" x 3" of Whisper White Cardstock
- 2 pieces each 1" x 3" from Basic Black Cardstock
- 2-1/2" square of Basic Black Cardstock
- 2-1/2" square of Whisper White Cardstock
- 1-1/4" square of Silver Foil Sheets
Adhere large rectangle of Merry Music Specialty Designer Series Paper to large rectangle of Basic Black Cardstock and then to front of Whisper White Thick card.
Mount the scroll work image from the Musical Season Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Basic Black Archival Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the long strip of white cardstock.
Use Paper Snips to trim the ends of the stamped white strip so that the ends of the scroll work image are right at the end of the cardstock.
Unlock the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch. Slide one long side of one of the 1" strips of Basic Black Cardstock into the punch so it butts up against the guide at the back of the punch. Punch. Slide the punched cardstock over a little bit and line up the punched area with the silver design printed on the base of the punch. Punch again. Repeat until the entire length has been punched. Repeat with the other long strip of Basic Black.
Tip: I sometimes find it easier to line things up with this punch if I turn the punch over so I can see the punching area. I then line up the punched areas with the designs of the punch before punching again.
Adhere the punched strips of Basic Black to the top and bottom of the stamped scroll work layer so the tiny scallops just peek out from behind the white layer. Use Paper Snips to trim off excess on the ends if needed.
Cut a 2" piece of Silver 3/8" Metallic-Edge Ribbon at an angle on one end.
Put some SNAIL on the back of the scroll work strip and adhere the ribbon to it so that the angled end sticks out on the left side by about 1/2".
Adhere the scroll work/ribbon strip to the card front so the bottom of the scroll work strip is about 1" from the bottom of the designer paper layer and the ribbon almost touches the left edge of the designer paper layer.
Mount the "Peace Joy Love" sentiment on Block H. Ink up only the word "Peace" using the side of the brush tip of the Basic Black Marker. Breathe on the stamp to moisten the ink and stamp in the center of the white square. Clean and dry the stamp thoroughly.
Tip: Use the brush tip of the Marker and make a small mark on the clear block on either side of the word you are stamping. When you stamp, you'll be able to see the marks on the block to let you know where the word is and help you line things up. Or, you can use a Stamp-a-ma-jig if you prefer!
Tip: After cleaning and drying the stamp with the Stampin' Mist and Stampin' Scrub, I like to rub my fingers across the stamp to make sure that all ink and wetness is gone so I don't get a ghost image.
Repeat the step above but this time ink up and stamp only the word "Joy." Stamp just below and to the right side of the word "Peace" at a slight angle. Clean and dry the stamp.
Repeat the steps above but this time ink up and stamp only the word "Love." Stamp just below and to the left side of the words "Peace" and "Joy" at a slight angle.
Unlock the 1-1/2" Circle Punch. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped words into the punch and get them centered in the punching area. Punch.
Unlock the 1-3/4" Circle Punch. Insert the black square and punch.
Adhere the sentiment circle to the black circle,
Loop some Black Metallic Thread around your fingers a few times and cut loose from the spool.
Put some SNAIL Adhesive on the back of the sentiment circles. Adhere the metallic thread in loops to the back so they will stick out to the upper right side when the image is right side up.
Adhere the sentiment circles with metallic thread attached to the card front so it is centered over the right end of the scroll work strip and is about 3/8" in from the right side of the designer paper layer.
Pick out the small sized snowflake thinlit from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits. Place the square of Silver Foil Sheets on the Precision Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the snowflake thinlit on top. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush to remove the pieces.
Put a Mini Stampin' Dimensional on the back of the snowflake cut out in the center. Peel off the protective backing and adhere the snowflake to the card front on the bottom right side of the sentiment circles.
Place a large Rhinestone Basic Jewel in the center of the snowflake cut out.
Add two more large Rhinestone Basic Jewels randomly to the card front.
