Merry Patterns |
A
quick and cute "two step" stamping project. The clear photpolymer stamps make it easy to stamp both the candle outlines and the decorative inside patterns as well as the candle flames.
This is a limited edition stamp set offered as a bonus hostess gift for Sept/Oct 2017 hostesses.

1. Ink the "outline" image of the candles in black ink and stamp on a 3" square scrap of Whisper White cardstock.
2. Ink the patterned candle image in Real Red, visualize the alignment through the clear block and stamp it over the black outline image.
3. Align the tiny "flames" outline over the candles and stamp in black ink.
4. Ink the solid "flames" in yellow and stamp into the stamped "outline" of flame tips OR use a yellow marker and color them in by hand.
5. Use the "Starburst" scalloped punch out the candle image. Use the 2.25" circle to punch a circle from Night of Navy cardstick and adhere the starburst circle to the Night of Navy circle.
6. Use a Whisper White 3.5"x5" notecard as the card base. Trim 1/8th inch off the long "open" edge and 1/8th" off one of the short sides of the notecard. l
7. Position the medallion in the card as shown in the photo. Use Night of Navy ink to stamp the Merry Christmas sentiment under the layered circle image, then run the front side of the trimmed white notecard thru the "Oh My Stars" embossing folder.
8. Use Stampin' Dimensionals to attach the Navy medallion to the white embossed card.
9. Adhere the folded white card to a single piece of 3.5"x5" piece of Real Red cardstock.
10. Stamp holiday greeting inside using Night of Navy ink.
11. Add clear Wink of Stella to go over the Daffodil Delight colored flame tips.
