Cut cardstock and designer acetate pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Basic Gray Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/4" from Night of Navy Cardstock
- 3" square from Mercury Glass Designer Acetate
- 2-1/4" square from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1" x 3-1/4" from Basic Gray Cardstock
Insert the Night of Navy rectangle into the Swirls & Curls Embossing Folder. Use the line drawn on the front of the folder to help you line the cardstock up straight. Place the folder with the paper inside on your die cutting and embossing tool and run through the machine.
Adhere the dry embossed Night of Navy rectangle to the front of the Basic Gray card.
Pick out the large, open, stitched star die from the Stitched Stars Dies that cuts out a star that is 2-3/4" wide. Put it on top of the Mercury Glass Acetate square on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool. Run through the tool. Save ALL the pieces!
Pick out the open, stitched star die from the Stitched Stars Dies that cuts out a star that is 3/4" wide. Put it on top of the scrap of Mercury Glass Acetate on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool. Run through the tool. Repeat in another area of the scrap of acetate.
You should have one large star and two small ones.
Remove the protective coating on the acetate stars.
Adhere the large star to the front of the card using small pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive. Adhere the star at a slight angle so the top point is about 3/4" from the top edge and the left point is about 3/8" from the left edge.
As you are ready to stamp using the Merry Moose Photopolymer Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the raccoon on a log image from the Merry Moose Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Memento Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Whisper White square.
Pick out the straight-edged circle die from the Layering Circles Dies that cuts out a circle that is 1-5/8" diameter. Put it on top of the stamped white square on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool so the stamped image is centered. Run through the tool.
Put the stamped raccoon on a log circle cut out on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface. You need to make sure that you protect your work surface with paper as the Stampin' Blends Markers do bleed through.
Start coloring the raccoon on a log image with the Stampin' Blends Markers. The markers have a brush tip for coloring in larger areas and a fine tip for coloring in smaller areas. Use the dark colors first and then the light colors to blend the colors and color in the spaces. Work on one area at a time so the inks will be wet and will blend easier.
Use the Light and Dark Soft Suede Markers to color in the log.
Use the Light Soft Suede Marker to color in some of the stripes on the raccoon's tail.
Use the Light and Dark Smoky Slate Markers to color in the rest of the raccoon.
Use the Color Lifter Marker as needed to remove excess ink
Adhere the colored raccoon on a log circle cut out to the front of the card so it overlaps the lower right point of the large acetate star and is about 1/2" from the right side of the card.
Mount the "Happiest of Holidays" sentiment from the Merry Moose Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Night of Navy Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Basic Gray rectangle.
Pick out the stitched rectangle die from the Stitched Rectangle Dies that cuts out a rectangle that is 1/2" x 2-1/2". Put it on top of the stamped sentiment rectangle on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool so the sentiment is centered. Run through the tool.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals or Mini Black Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment to the front of the card so it overlaps the bottom of the raccoon circle cut out and the tip of the bottom left star point and is centered side to side on the card front.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals or Mini Black Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the two small acetate star cut outs to the front of the card as shown.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick tool to pick up the 2 small jewels from a sheet of Rhinestone Basic Jewels being sure to get the adhesives as well. Adhere them randomly to the front of the card.
