May 2019 Card Class: Waterfront on Craft with white ink first. |
|
T his card came from 2018 Artisan Team members Elizabeth Price. I loved the look of these cards and stamping with the White Craft Ink first not only makes the colors stand out but gives the objects a little shadow.

Fold 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Pacific point in half and add white 5 1/4 x 4 to the inside. You may stamp words if you wish on the inside.
Take your 5 x 3 3/4 piece of Crumb Cake and stamp the whole scene with White Craft Ink. Then dry with a heat tool, or set a side to dry.
Once dry/almost dry go back over all your images with color. It is best not to line them up perfectly so you can get the shadow effect.
If I were to do this card again, I would move my hut over a bit to the right.
Measure or use the grid paper to place a dot where you need the 1/2 circle punched to hold the twine. Punch and add twine either Old Olive or Natural color. Once you have the twine tied add to the layer of 5 1/8 x 3 7/8 piece of Cherry Cobbler. Then add to the card base.
