Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- 7-1/2" x 11" of design from Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper Stack
- 1-3/4" x 2-3/4" from Berry Burst, Fresh Fig, Lemon Lime Twist, Powder Pink, or Tranquil Tide Cardstock
- 2" x 3" from Whisper White Cardstock
Follow the directions printed on the Gift Bag Punch Board for a medium sized bag to punch and score the piece of Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper.
Fold the designer paper along all score lines. Trim off excess paper as needed with Paper Snips. Make sure that the side of the paper that you want to have showing is facing out and assemble the bag using pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive to hold it together.
Pinch the top of the bag closed. Punch the ribbon holes in the center of the top of the bag using the back side of the Gift Bag Punch Board punch.
Fill the bag with treats.
Tip: If you are putting baked goods in the bag, you might want to put a piece of wax paper inside the bag first. This will help protect the paper from any oils in the baked goods.
Cut a 7" piece of 1/2" Finely Woven Ribbon in a coordinating color to your bag.
Poke the ends of the ribbon through the holes in the top of the bag from the FRONT of the bag.
One at a time, cross one end of the ribbon across the back of the bag and back through the opposite hole to the front of the bag. Tighten the ribbon in place, but be careful not to rip the paper. Trim the ends.
One at a time, mount the upper case and lower case cursive letters you need to spell out a name or word from the Make A Difference Set on Block A. Ink them up with a coordinating color of ink and stamp them onto the center of the white rectangle until you have spelled out the name or word. Things don't have to match up perfectly as this is meant to look like cursive handwriting.
Tip: You might want to place a Stampin' Pierce Mat under the cardstock as you are stamping to get a really clean, crisp image while using the photopolymer stamps.
Tip: If you have trouble finding the right letter, try inking up the entire sheet of stamps and stamping onto a piece of white or vanilla cardstock. Use this as a reference to help you find the letter you want to use. Keep the stamped sheet image in the case with the stamp set to use on future projects as well.
Pick out the stitched oval framelit from the Stitched Shapes Framelits that cuts out a stitched oval that is 1-1/4" wide. Place a coordinating color of cardstock rectangle on the Cutting Pad on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the stitched oval framelit on top. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Pick out the oval framelit from the Layering Ovals Framelits that cuts out an oval that is 1" wide. Place the stamped word or name white rectangle on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the oval framelit on top so the word or name is centered. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Adhere the word/name oval to the center of the stitched oval.
Slide the left end of the matted ovals into the Detailed Trio Punch on the large open side that punches out a small oval shape. Get the matted ovals centered over the point of the punch. Press down on the center of the punch to punch.
Cut a 4-1/2" piece of Gold or Silver 1/8" Ribbon.
Slide one end of the 1/8" Ribbon through the small oval space punched in the end of the matted ovals. Get the ribbon ends even.
Slide one end of the 1/8" Ribbon under the center of the ribbon holding the bag shut on the front of the bag. Pull the ends of the 1/8" Ribbon even and tie a knot. Trim the ends of the 1/8" Ribbon.
Use a Stampin' Dimensional on the back of the matted ovals near the ribbon to adhere the ovals to the front of the bag at a slight angle.
Peel the protective backing off a coordinating Mini Gift Bow. Add a couple of Mini Glue Dots to the sticky backing of the bow to help make sure it stays adhered to the front of the bag. Adhere the bow to the front of the bag over the center of the ribbons holding the bag closed and holding the tag in place.
