Cut cardstock and Glimmer Paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- 2-1/2" square from Gold Glimmer Paper
- 1-1/2" x 4" from either Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Marina Mist, Pink Pirouette, or Pool Party Cardstock depending on design
- 2" square from Whisper White Cardstock for knight or mermaid bag
- 2-1/2" square from Whisper White Cardstock for unicorn, wizard, or dragon bag
- 1-3/4" x 3" from Old Olive Cardstock for mermaid bag
- scrap of Pumpkin Pie Cardstock for dragon bag
Fill Striped Treat Bag with treats. Fold the top over about 1-1/4". Secure top closed with pieces of washi tape.
Mount creature image of choice from Magical Day Set on Block C or D. Ink it up with the Memento Pad. Stamp in the center of the appropriate sized white square. Set aside for a moment to let dry.
Cut a 4" piece of Gold 3/8" Metallic-Edge Ribbon.
Make sure you have some paper (Grid Paper works great) at your work space.to protect the work surface. The Stampin' Blends Markers will bleed through the cardstock and ribbon that you are coloring so you need to protect your work surface.
Place the ribbon on the Grid Paper and use the brush tip of the appropriate Stampin' Blends Marker to color the ribbon on one side. I used the following colors:
- dragon, Light Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends Marker
- knight, Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends Marker
- mermaid, Light Bermuda Bay Stampin' Blends Marker
- unicorn, Light Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Blends Marker
- wizard, Light Night of Navy Stampin' Blends Marker
Set the ribbon aside to let it dry thoroughly.
Pick out the scalloped circle framelit from the Layering Circles Framelits that cuts out a 2-1/4" scalloped circle. Place the glimmer paper square on the Cutting Pad on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the scalloped circle framelit on top. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Mount the "You Are One of a Kind" sentiment on Block H. Use the brush tip of the appropriate regular Marker to ink up only the words "One of a Kind." Do NOT use the Stampin' Blends Markers for this step! Stamp in the center of the appropriate colored strip of cardstock. Be sure to clean the stamp using the Stampin' Mist and Stampin' Scrub if you are doing different bags with different colors. I used the following colors:
- dragon, Pumpkin Pie Cardstock with Cherry Cobbler Marker
- knight, Old Olive Cardstock with Cherry Cobbler Marker
- mermaid, Pool Party Cardstock with Bermuda Bay Marker
- unicorn, Pink Pirouette Cardstock with Rich Razzleberry Marker
- wizard, Marina Mist Cardstock with Night of Navy Marker
Pick out the curved banner framelit from the Magical Mates Framelits. Place the sentiment stamped on cardstock on a Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the curved banner framelit on top so the words are as far to the right side of the curved banner as possible and centered top to bottom. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Without adhering them, place the sentiment banner and glimmer paper scalloped circle on the bottom of the bag to get an idea for spacing.
When happy with the spacing, put some Tear & Tape Adhesive on the back of the sentiment banner and adhere it in place. Then, put some Tear & Tape Adhesive on the back of the glimmer paper scalloped circle and adhere it in place so it covers the left side of the sentiment banner.
Pick out the matching framelit from the Magical Mates Framelits for the creature image you are using. Place the stamped creature image on a Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the matching framelit on top so it is centered over the image. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Place the stamped and cut out creature image on your Grid Paper and start coloring it with the Stampin' Blends Markers. The markers have a brush tip for coloring in larger areas and a fine tip for coloring in smaller areas. Use the light color first and add highlights with the darker color. If needed to blend the colors, go over things again with the lighter color. If you get color where you don't want it, you can use the Color Lifter Marker to remove the color. I used the following colors:
- dragon, Light and Dark Daffodil Delight, Light and Dark Pumpkin Pie, and Light Cherry Cobbler
- knight, Light and Dark Smoky Slate, Light and Dark Cherry Cobbler, Light and Dark Old Olive, and Ivory
- mermaid, Light and Dark Pool Party, Light and Dark Bermuda Bay, Light and Dark Daffodil Delight, Dark Calypso Coral, and Ivory
- unicorn, Light and Dark Pink Pirouette and Light and Dark Rich Razzleberry
- wizard, Light and Dark Night of Navy, Ivory, and Color Lifter
Use Tear & Tape Adhesive to adhere the colored, cut out creature image to the glimmer paper scalloped circle.
If making the dragon bag, pick out the flames framelit from the Magical Mates Framelits. Place the scrap of Pumpkin Pie Cardstock on the Precision Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the flames framelit on top. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot. Use the Die Brush to remove the pieces. Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the flames cut out to the bag so the flames appear to be coming out of the dragons mouth.
If making the mermaid bag, pick out the 2 seaweed framelits from the Magical Mates Framelits. Place the Old Olive Cardstock on the Precision Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the 2 seaweed framelits on top so they do NOT overlap. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot. Use the Die Brush to remove the pieces. Repeat with one of the seaweed framelits so you have a total of 3 seaweed cut outs. Use Mini Glue Dots to adhere the seaweed cut outs to the bag so the seaweed is sticking out from the lower left side of the mermaid.
If making the knight, unicorn, or wizard bag, carefully peel up 3 silver stars from the Metallic Enamel Shapes making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere them randomly to the bag near the creature image.
Tie the appropriate color of dyed ribbon in a simple half knot. Trim the ends. Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere it to the front of the bag near the lower junction between the sentiment banner and the glimmer scalloped circle. Again, I used the following colors:
- dragon, Light Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends Marker
- knight, Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends Marker
- mermaid, Light Bermuda Bay Stampin' Blends Marker
- unicorn, Light Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Blends Marker
- wizard, Light Night of Navy Stampin' Blends Marker
