Made Especially For You - The Gift, Gift Tag |
I
’m trying to be creative on getting my name out there. My son told me that his girlfriend and her mom give lots of baked goodies to friends and family at Christmas. Just a few days ago they were already planning their recipes.
So, I thought, why not make them some special Gift Tags that they can put on top of all their baked goodies. In return I just asked that they would help me spread the word. Of course I did put my website on the back of the card and will give them business cards to hand out as well. They both seem really excited about the tags and helping me as well.

Stamps all come from the Bright & Beautiful Collection
Paper consists of Whisper White, Baked Brown Sugar, DSP Under The Tree.
I used the smallest and largest stars and stamped them in Craft Whisper White onto the Baked Brown Sugar and lightly embossed in White (don’t over heat – you want clean edges for the best look). The medium star is stamped with Baked Brown Sugar on Whisper White paper which I did not emboss.
All stars are cut out using Stars Framelits and popped using Dimensionals.
For the bling on the stars, I colored in some Jewels Basic Rhinestones using the darkest Blendabilities Cherry Cobbler Marker.
On the tag I distressed the edges using, of course, the distress tool. For a little touch of glam, added strips cut from Glimmer Red and easily attached using a Transfer Adhesive Sheet.
I attached the tag with Baker’s Twine in Cherry Cobbler by placing a Jumbo Sticky Round on the back leaving the covering on so the customer can peel off and stick on.
On the back of the tag I hand wrote To: & From: with the Cherry Cobbler Marker. I know I could have used a stamp but none of them seemed to fit quite like I wanted them.
