Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Tranquil Tide Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Pacific Point Cardstock
- 2 pieces of 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Whisper White Cardstock
Pick out the label framelit from the Lots of Labels Framelits that cuts out a 2-1/2" wide label. Place one of the Whisper White rectangles on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the label framelit on top so it is centered. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Throw away the label shape cut out of the white rectangle (or save it for use on some other project). Keep the white rectangle with the shape cut out of the middle. This is your mask.
Mount the Hardwood background stamp on Block F. Leave it face up on the work surface in front of you and ink it up by pouncing the Smoky Slate Ink Pad all over it.
Place the mask rectangle on top of the other white rectangle so they are lined up.
Pick up the inked up Hardwood stamp and stamp it on top of the white rectangles. Press down fairly hard and rub all over the back of the block. Lift up the background stamp.
Ink up the Sponge Brayer by rolling it several times across the open Smoky Slate Ink Pad. Roll in one direction only by picking up the brayer each time and rolling again. If you roll back and forth, you'll only ink up a small portion of the roller.
Tip: Use a light touch when rolling the brayer on the ink pad or the plastic prongs on the brayer handle might dig into your ink pad and tear the surface.
Make sure the mask is still lined up on top of your other white rectangle.
Roll the inked up brayer across the opening in the mask until you've reached the color saturation you want. Re-ink the brayer as needed. Be careful not to let the mask move as you are rolling the brayer across it. When you are happy with the color saturation, remove the mask.
Tip: If you are making multiples of this card, you can use the mask again and again.
Mount the "You make me ridiculously happy" sentiment from the Lovely Friends Set on Block E. Ink it up with the Tranquil Tide Ink Pad. Stamp the sentiment in the center of the hardwood label image.
Mount the two teeny tiny heart images and the two teeny tiny circle images from the Lovely Friends Set on Block A at the same time. Make sure the hearts are both right side up! Ink up the images using the Pacific Point Ink Pad and stamp a couple of times in the lower left corner and a couple of times in the upper right corner. Vary the angle a little each time, but make sure the hearts are still right side up. Let the images overlap the hardwood label image a bit and go off the edges of the white cardstock a bit. Remember to re-ink the images each time.
Tip: Be VERY careful when cleaning these tiny stamps with the Stampin' Scrub. They can easily come off the block and bounce away and because they are clear and so tiny they are very, very hard to find!
Adhere the stamped white layer to the Pacific Point layer.
Cut a 6-1/2" piece of Pacific Point 1/4" Stitched Edge Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon piece across the card front along the top edge. Flip the card front over and fold the ends of the ribbon over. Adhere them in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive across the ends.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape strips and add more SNAIL to the back of layer. Adhere the layer to the front of the Tranquil Tide card.
Cut a 3" piece of the Pacific Point 1/4" Stitched Edge Ribbon. Slide one end under the ribbon already on the card. Tie in a half knot so it is on the left side of the card. Trim the ends.
