Love, Santa Tag Kit Falling Presents |
A fun Christmas card made with leftover pieces from the Love, Santa Tag Kit and a few additional Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Poppy Parade Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Just Jade Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Basic White Cardstock
As you are ready to stamp using the stamps in the Love, Santa Tag Kit, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put a piece of Grid Paper on top of the Mat to protect it from ink.
Mount the gift image from the Love, Santa Tag Kit on the block. Ink it up using the Night Of Navy Ink Spot in the kit. Stamp the image randomly a few times on the white rectangle. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Change the orientation of the stamp every so often. Let some of the images go off the edges of the cardstock. Clean the stamp using the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist Stamp Cleaner and/or Simply Shammy, but leave it on the block.
Re-ink the gift image on the block using the Bumblebee Ink Pad.

If needed, stamp a few more images in the color of your choice to fill in any gaps. Just remember to clean the stamp between colors and when you are ready to put it away.
Adhere the stamped white rectangle to the center of the Just Jade rectangle and then to the front of the Poppy Parade card.
Mount the "Love, Santa" circle sentiment from the Love, Santa Tag Kit on the block from the kit. Ink it up using the Night Of Navy Ink Spot in the kit. Stamp the sentiment in the center of the die-cut, white circle from the kit.
Tip: Put the white circle on top of a piece of dark colored cardstock. This makes it easier to see the edges of the circle so you can stamp in the center of it.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals from the kit to adhere the stamped sentiment circle to the front of the card in the lower right corner.
Tie a small bow in the center of a piece of the twine from the kit. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot from the Love, Santa Tag Kit to adhere the twine bow to the front of the card on the lower right side of the sentiment circle die-cut.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up three small, pink gems from the Love, Santa Tag Kit making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them randomly to the card front.
