My name is Shannon Hatch, I live in Birmingham Alabama USA with my husband, 2 kids (a tween and a teenager), 3 dogs, 1 cat and a fish.

The Top 10 Winners will get to be part of an International Blog Hop. I would love it if you would VOTE for my project.
All stamps including sentiments came from the Let it Ride stamp set, Layered Leaves Textured Embossing Folder. Old Olive, Crazy Cajun and Early Espresso inks. Old Olive, Crushed Curry, Whisper White Cardstock and a strip of a pattern from Garden Impressions 6"x6" DSP. With just a touch of Wink of Stella.
I am born and bred a Kentucky girl, from Louisville Kentucky - more specifically, (simply transplanted to Alabama in the name of love). Churchill Downs and the Kentucky Derby are just simply an engrained and anticipated yearly part of my life. For 2 minutes every year we are glued to the TV or the race track just waiting to see who the winner may be and could this strong, beautiful, majestic animal be the next Triple Crown Winner, she just won the first jewel in the Crown.
Our objective in this Blog Hop is Encouragement. What could be more encouraging than to admire the strength, drive and guts of these animals to run their hearts out for a little man sitting on top with a stick, carrying all this weight on 4 tiny legs, centimeters away from all the other horses around, doing the same thing. Just trying to get through the race and be the Winner.
To be that special horse, to be the Triple Crown Winner, there is a spunk, a light, a power inside that must be sparked. I tried to relay that message in this card by using Wink of Stella for a bit of sparkle on the galloping horse. She has captured her spark, and nothing is going to stop her now!
Thanks for visiting with me today, hope you enjoyed the card and its meaning. Please vote for me and the thrill of Encouragement here: http://bit.ly/KyliesMarch2019HighlightsVoteForMeHere
