Leaf Collection Spring Greens Wish

Supplies needed:

Project Recipe:

1. Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
   - card from Granny Apple Green Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
   - 3-3/4" x 5" from Lemon Lolly Cardstock
   - 4" x 5-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
   - 3-1/2" square from Basic White Cardstock
   - 1" x 4-1/2" from Lemon Lolly Cardstock

2. Mount the Leaf Collection stamp on Block F. Leave the stamp rubber side up on your work surface and press the open Lemon Lime Twist Ink Pad all over it.

3. Leave the stamp inky rubber side up on your work surface. Carefully place the large Basic White rectangle on top of the inky stamp so it is centered. Place a piece of Grid Paper on top of the cardstock/inky rubber and rub firmly all over. Remove the Grid Paper and the inked up cardstock rectangle. Leave the stamp on the block.

4. Use the Paper Trimmer to trim the stamped white rectangle down to 3-1/2" wide.

5. Now, use the Paper Trimmer to cut the stamped white rectangle into three strips each 1-1/2" x 3-1/2".

6. WITHOUT ADHERING, lay the strips of stamped white cardstock onto the large Lemon Lolly rectangle to figure out spacing and placement so they are centered on the rectangle with equal spacing between them.

7. When happy with the layout and placement, adhere the strips in place one at a time.

8. Unlock the Happy Labels Pick A Punch. Slide one short edge of the thin, Lemon Lolly strip into the right side of the punch (the side of the punch with the smaller scallops) as far as it will go and get it centered. Punch.

9. As you are ready to stamp using the Hooray For Surprises Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.

10. Mount the large, block sentiment of choice from the Hooray For Surprises Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Granny Apple Green Ink Pad. Stamp it as close as possible to the punched edge of the strip with the punched edge on the right side.

11. Adhere the stamped sentiment strip to the bottom of the layered Lemon Lolly/leaves strips rectangle so it is about 1/2" from the bottom and about 7/8" from the right edge.

12. Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut off excess cardstock along the left edge.

13. Adhere the layered Lemon Lolly/leaf strips rectangle with sentiment strip attached to the front of the Granny Apple Green card so it is centered.

14. Re-ink the Leaf Collection stamp on Block F by pressing the open Granny Apple Green Ink Pad to the stamp so you ink up the large, whole leaf image.

    Note: Since you used a lighter shade of green ink with the same tone originally, you don't have to worry about cleaning the stamp in between colors.

15. Leave the stamp inky rubber side up on your work surface. Carefully place the 3-1/2" Basic White square on top of the inky stamp so it is centered over the large, complete leaf image you inked up. Place a piece of Grid Paper on top of the cardstock/inky rubber and rub firmly all over. Remove the Grid Paper and the inked up cardstock square.

16. Use Paper Snips Scissors to carefully cut out the stamped, large, complete leaf image. Try to leave a thin line of white around the edges of the image.

17. Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the cut out leaf image to the card front as shown so the stem is near the center of the sentiment strip and the bottom right leaf almost overlaps the sentiment.

18. Cut a 9" piece of the Lemon Lime Twist ribbon included in the Ribbon Duo Combo Pack.

19. Tie a small bow in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.

20. Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon bow to the front of the card at a slight angle as shown so it is centered over the base of the leaf stem.

21. Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 7 Lemon Lolly gems in different sizes from a sheet of Adhesive-Backed Solid Gems making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them randomly to the card front.
