Layering Love Little Things Watecolor Block |
C lean and simple card using a clear block as a stamp along with other Stampin' Up! products.

|
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Peekaboo Peach Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Powder Pink Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Whisper White Thick Cardstock
- scrap of Powder Pink Cardstock
- scrap of Peekaboo Peach Cardstock
Fill a Stampin' Spritzer with water.
Press half of Block E onto the Powder Pink Ink Pad.
Tip: Make sure you use the lighter color first so you don't mess up your ink pad.
Carefully press the other half of Block E onto the Peekaboo Peach Ink Pad.
Holding the inked up block away from your work area so you don't spray water where you don't want it, spritz the inked up block with water from the Stampin' Spritzer to make the colors bleed and run together a bit.
Press the wet, inky block to the center of the Whisper White Thick Cardstock and hold in place for a few seconds.
Tip: I prefer to use the thick cardstock for this technique because it holds up to getting wet better.
Allow the block image to dry completely before proceeding. You can speed up the drying process by heating the paper with the Heat Tool if you wish.
Once the block image is completely dry, mount one of the large, bold sentiments of your choice from the Layering Love Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Calypso Coral Ink Pad and stamp it in the center of the block image.
Adhere the stamped white layer to the Powder Pink rectangle and then to the front of the Peekaboo Peach card.
Pick out one Flirty Flamingo and one Peekaboo Peach shape from the 2016-2018 In Color Glitter Acrylic Shapes. Adhere the Peekaboo Peach shape to the block image on the pink side using Mini Glue Dots. Adhere the Flirty Flamingo shape to the block image on the peach side using Mini Glue Dots.
Unlock the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch. Hold the punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the scrap of Powder Pink Cardstock into the punch and punch out two little hearts. Repeat with the scrap of Peekaboo Peach Cardstock to get two little hearts.
Adhere the pink hearts to the peach side of the block image using the Fine-Tip Glue Pen. Adhere the peach hearts to the pink side of the block image using the Fine-Tip Glue Pen.
