Layered Patterned Card
I used Sahara Sand of the base card. It is cut at 4 1/4 x 11 and score at 5 1/2.
For the mattes I used Island Indigo and cut them as follows:
1) 2 1/8 x 5 1/4
2) 2 1/8 x 4 1/8
3) 1 5/8 x 4 1/8
The designer series paper I used is called Blooms and Bliss. This is my favorite DSP from the Annual Catalog. Cut the DSP as follows:
1) 2 x 5 1/8
2) 2 x 4
3) 1 1/2 x 4
The sentiment layer is cut out in Island Indigo (matte) and Whisper White. I used a scalloped and regular square from the layering squares thinlits.
Using snail adhesive, adhere the DSP to the coordinating mattes.
Visualize the placement of the layers on the card.
Adhere the long layer ( 2 1/8 x 5 1/4) to the left on the card base.
Apply dimensionals to the wide layer (2 x 4) and adhere it on the first layer.
Stamp your sentiment (the sentiment is from the limited edition Thoughtful Branches stamp set) on the whisper white and adhere it to the Island Indigo. I cut a small amount of gold metallic thread and applied a some adhesive on the back to hold it in place.
Adhere that to the second layer on the left using snail adhesive.
Next is to adhere the last layer on top of the second layer using snail adhesive.
For the inside - adhere a panel of whisper white cut at 4 x 5 1/4.
Ta-Da your card is done.
