Lasting Joy Petunia Pop Birthday

Supplies needed:

Project Recipe:

1. Cut cardstock and shimmer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
   - card from Bubble Bath Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
   - 4" x 5-1/4" from Petunia Pop Cardstock
   - 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" of Bubble Bath shimmer paper from Soft Shimmer 12" x 12" Paper Combo Pack
   - 1-1/2" x 3-1/4" from Petunia Pop Cardstock
   - 1-1/2" x 4" from Bubble Bath Cardstock

2. Insert the Bubble Bath shimmer paper rectangle vertically into the Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder so the center of the folder is slightly closer to the top edge . Use the line printed on the front flap of the folder to make sure it is lined up straight. Make sure you can see the shimmery side of the paper and the lines and logos printed on the front flap of the folder. Place the folder with the shimmer paper inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.

3. Adhere the dry embossed shimmer paper to the center of the large Petunia Pop rectangle.

4. Cut a 4-1/2" piece of the Bubble Bath ribbon from the 3/8" Sheer Ribbon Combo Pack.

5. Lay the ribbon across the matted cardstock/shimmer paper rectangle so it is about 1" from the bottom edge. Fold the ends of the ribbon over and secure the ribbon in place on the back with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.

6. Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the Petunia Pop rectangle. Adhere the rectangle to the front of the Bubble Bath card.

7. As you are ready to stamp using the Lasting Joy Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.

8. Mount the "birthday wishes" sentiment from the Lasting Joy Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Petunia Pop Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the horizontal Bubble Bath strip leaving room to punch it out and stamp the flower on the other end of the strip.

9. Mount the large flower image from the Lasting Joy Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Petunia Pop Ink Pad. Stamp it on the other end of the Bubble Bath strip leaving room to cut it out.

10. Unlock the Double Oval Punch. Hold the punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the stamped sentiment into the punch and get it centered in the smooth oval punching area. Punch. Leave the punch unlocked.

11. Hold the unlocked Double Oval Punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the Petunia Pop strip into the punch and get it centered in the scalloped oval punching area. Punch.

12. Adhere the sentiment oval punch out to the center of the scalloped oval punch out.

13. Adhere the matted ovals to the front of the card so they are centered over the ribbon and the left edge is about 1" from the left side of the card.

14. Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut out the large flower image by hand.

15. Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the cut out flower to the front of the card so it is centered over the ribbon and overlaps the left edge of the matted sentiment ovals.

16. Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to peel up one large Bubble Bath oval from the sheet of Opaque Ovals making sure you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the center of the flower on the card front as shown.

17. Cut a 3" piece of the Bubble Bath ribbon from the 3/8" Sheer Ribbon Combo Pack.

18. Slide one end of the ribbon under the ribbon already on the card front on the right side of the matted sentiment ovals. Tie in place with a half knot. Trim the ends.
