ive cards with envelopes presented in a lovely acetate gift box make the perfect gift for someone special in your life.
Each card has a white insert and extra patterned paper can be added to that or the envelopes to make it all coordinate.
Also included are strips of foam tape to give you the option of adding sentiments "popped up" or flat.
You can add the sentiments in coordinating ink colours, but I just did mine in black.
Fold the acetate box so that it goes from flat into a closed rectangular box. Wrap the green card strip around the acetate so that the ends meet in the middle front of the box and glue together. Wrap the strip of patterned paper so that it too meets at the centre front of the box over the top of the green panel. Tip I fold and crease my card stock/paper first and then glue them in two seperate steps as I find this easier. Stamp your sentiment onto the white oval and then layer onto the green scalloped oval,, stick this over your card/paper joins on the front of the box. Fussy cut the flower from the patterned paper and stick this onto the front of the box, I didn't use foam strips for this, but of course you can if you chose to.
Glue the patterned paper to the black matt panel, add the white ornate border to it leaving an even distance either side of the dotted line. Glue this piece onto the petal pink base card. Stamp your sentiment onto the white oval and layer onto the black scalloped oval piece. I used foam strips to add this to the card front. Optional - i used some Wink of Stella on the flower petals to give a subtle sparkle to them.
Stick the largest white mat layer to the card front, add the patterned paper. Stick the smaller white rectangle to the centre and the layer on top the green panel, the vellum and then stick the leaves to this (most of the stems will be covered up so don't be too worried if some adhesive shows, but try to get it under where the sentiment oval will cover. Stamp your desired sentiment into the oval and stick to the green scalloped oval, add to the card front with foam strips.
Wrap the twine around the green rectangle twice and tie into a knot. Lay the patterned paper strips into place around the card front, using the photo as a guide and add the green panel to the centre. Glue each piece down, careful to ensure the white border space between pieces in maintained. Stamp your sentiment onto the stitched rectangle and add to the card front using foam strips.
Stamp your sentiment onto the smallest angled white piece of card as per the photo. Stick the large rectangle of patterned paper to the card base. Add the pink cut pieces to opposite corners (as per the photo) and layer the white pieces on top. I use a small strip of double sided tape to hold down my ribbon until i get it just where I want it, trim the ends of it at an angle to please you. Fussy cut the larger flower from the patterned paper and using foam strips add it over the top of the ribbon. Optional you can add the ribbon to the card in a cross over to give as a ribbon of hope card to a cancer recipient if that is appropriate.
Get a red colouring implement of your choice e.g. Texta, Sharpie, Blend, Stampin' Write marker, ink pad or watercolour pencil with a Blender Pen (if using the Stampin' Up! colours this is Cherry Cobbler) and colour in all the flowers. Stick the coloured patterned paper onto the green layer then onto the card front. Stamp your sentiment onto the white punch out. Cut the gold foil into two halves and stick to the back of the sentiment leaving a narrow border showing. Add to your card front with foam strips.
