Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Poppy Parade Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Smoky Slate Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 2-3/4" x 3-3/4" from Smoky Slate Cardstock
- 2-1/4" x 3-1/4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1" x 2" from Whisper White Cardstock
Place the Buffalo Check background stamp rubber side up on Grid Paper on your work surface. Ink up the stamp by pouncing or rubbing the Poppy Parade Ink Pad all over it. Leave the inked up stamp face up on your work surface. Carefully place the large Whisper White rectangle on the stamp. Fold the Grid Paper up and over the top of everything and rub firmly all over. Using the Grid Paper protects your hands from getting ink on them.
Tip: I just clean my background stamps by running them under water until the water runs clear. Then, I let them air dry.
Use a ruler and the fine tip of the Smoky Slate Marker to add lines in between all the plaid lines on the plaid stamped rectangle.
Adhere the plaid background with lines drawn on to the large Smoky Slate rectangle and then to the front of the Poppy Parade card.
Pick out the stitched oval framelit from the Stitched Shapes Framelits that cuts out an oval that is 2-3/8" wide. Place the smaller Smoky Slate rectangle on the Cutting Pad on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the stitched oval framelit on top. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
As you are ready to stamp using the Jar of Love Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the large jar image from the Jar of Love Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Smoky Slate Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the 2-1/4" x 3-1/4" white rectangle.
Mount the single word image of your choice from the Jar of Love Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Poppy Parade Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the stamped jar image about 1" from the top of the jar.
Mount the small heart image from the Jar of Love Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Poppy Parade Ink Pad. Stamp it in the bottom right corner of the stamped jar image at a slight angle. WITHOUT re-inking, stamp it again just to the left and slightly higher of the first heart so they overlap just a bit. Re-ink the stamp with Poppy Parade Ink. Stamp once on Grid Paper. WITHOUT re-inking, stamp it again just above the first heart so they overlap just a bit.
Pick out the large jar framelit from the Everyday Jars Framelits. Place the large stamped jar image on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the large jar framelit on top so it is centered over the stamped jar image. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Cut a 2-1/2" piece of the Poppy Parade 1/4" Mini Striped Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the top of the jar cut out. Flip the jar cut out over and fold the ends of the ribbon over. Adhere the ends of the ribbon in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape strips and add SNAIL to the back of the jar cut out. Adhere it to the center of the stitched Smoky Slate oval cut out.
Adhere the matted jar oval to the front of the card on the bottom right side.
Cut a 3" piece of the Poppy Parade 1/4" Mini Striped Ribbon.
Slide one end of the ribbon under the ribbon already on the card front and tie it in place using a half knot. Trim the ends.
Mount the jar lid image from the Jar of Love Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Smoky Slate Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the small strip of white cardstock.
Pick out the jar lid framelit from the Everyday Jars Framelits. Place the stamped jar lid image on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the jar lid framelit on top so it is centered over the stamped jar lid image. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the jar lid cut out to the front of the card at a slight angle so the right end of the lid overlaps the bottom left corner of the jar cut out just a bit.
