our cards with envelopes and a 3D pillow box made with the Detailed Bee dies and Honey Bee Specialty Designer Series Paper. I have used sentiments from Honey Bee, Itty Bitty Greetings & Peaceful Moments.
Each card has a white card insert and extra pieces of die cut or paper can be added to the insert or the envelope to make it coordinate.
Adhere the black panel onto the centre of the folded yellow card stock. Optional I coloured the flowers on the designer series paper with a yellow marker before I layered it onto the black panel. Stamp a sentiment into the centre of the white circle, layer it on top of the black, then gold circles with glue or tape. Add the flowers, inter lapping around the edge of the circle. Add the sentiment circle to your card front with foam Dimensionals. Decorate your card insert and envelope.
Adhere the black matt panel to the front of the yellow card base, then add the white layer, yellow strip and black designer series paper strip. Stamp the sentiment onto the white circle and layer onto the yellow starburst die cut, add to the card using Dimensionals. Fold each medium punched daisy in half and keep them stuck with a tiny dab of glue inside them. Snip the edge off the small yellow circles and stick onto the flowers to create the centres and then layer onto the card front. Glue the yellow bee body onto the bee die cut and add to your card. Decorate your card insert and envelope.
Glue the white matt layer to the front of the black card and then add the designer series paper strip. Stamp the sentiment onto the smaller white layer (if it doesn't stamp nicely turn it over and use the other side). Layer the gold matt and the stamped white piece onto the card. Glue on the gold hexagon die cut, add in a few random hexagons to look like the bees have made some honey. Glue the gold bee body to the black bee die piece and stick to your card. Colour the die cut bees bodies yellow and stick those and the gold hearts to the card front. Decorate your card insert and envelope.
Glue the black matt onto the yellow card base. Optional: I coloured the flowers on the designer series paper yellow and then glued it onto the card front, add the yellow bee hive (skep). Add the sequin strip across the skep with the glue dots. Stamp the sentiment onto the strip, fish tail the ends with your scissors and add to the card front with Dimensionals sandwiching the layer of sequins in between to hold those in place. Glue the bee body to the bee die cut and stick onto the card. Add the single gold sequins to your card front (hint - pick these up with the point of your scissors or similar and not with your fingers ir you'll have a mess!). Decorate your card insert and envelope.
Fold the die cut box and burnish the folds, add glue or tear & tape to the side and then burnish to ensure it sticks. Whilst the box is flat glue on the gold circle and black circle. Stamp sentiment onto the strip and cut to size, I used the Classic Label punch, but the Word Window punch or a paper trimmer would also work. Wrap the gold thread around 2-3 fingers and lay over the black circle add a little glue to the sentiment strip and stick that on over the gold thread and then add the bee die cut over the top - both of these will hold the thread in place without the need for seperate adhesive for it.
