In The Moment Bookmark Card

Supplies needed:

Project Recipe:

1. Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
   - card from Polished Pink Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
   - 4" x 5-1/4" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
   - 2" x 3-7/8" of Polished Pink design of choice from 2021-2023 In Color 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper Assortment
   - 2" x 4-1/2" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
   - 2" square of Polished Pink same design of choice from 2021-2023 In Color 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper Assortment
   - 1-1/2" x 3-1/4" from Very Vanilla Cardstock

2. Mount the "relax" sentiment from the In The Moment Set on Block B. Ink up ONLY the word "relax" using the side of the brush tip of the Polished Pink Stampin' Write Marker (regular marker). Breathe on the stamp to moisten the ink. Stamp the word in the upper right corner of the vertical 4" x 5-1/4" vanilla rectangle. Leave the stamp on the block.

3. WITHOUT ADHERING, lay the 2" x 3-7/8" piece of Polished Pink 2021-2023 In Color Designer Paper UPSIDE DOWN (the pattern you want to have showing is face down) on the bottom of the stamped vanilla rectangle so about 1/8" of vanilla shows on the bottom, left, and right edges.

4. Mount the lady and dog snuggled up with a book image from the In The Moment Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad. Stamp it on the stamped, vertical vanilla rectangle so the left edge of the image is about 3/8" from the left edge of the cardstock and the bottom of the image just overlaps the top of the designer paper a tiny bit. Leave the stamp on the block.

5. Remove the designer paper for now and set it aside.

6. Place the stamped vanilla rectangle on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface. You need to make sure that you protect your work surface with paper as the Stampin' Blends Markers do bleed through.

7. Use the Light and Dark Night Of Navy Stampin' Blends to color in the woman's jeans.

   Use the Light and Dark Soft Succulent Stampin' Blends to color in the woman's socks.

   Use the Light and Dark Polished Pink Stampin' Blends to color in the book cover and mug.

   Use the Natural Tones Stampin' Blends of choice to color in the woman's face, neck, fingers, and hair and the dog.

   Use the Color Lifter Stampin' Blends as needed to remove excess ink.

8. Put a piece of Tear & Tape Adhesive on the left, right, and bottom edges of the BACK of the designer paper rectangle. Remove the protective backings and adhere the designer paper in place at the bottom of the stamped and colored vanilla rectangle so about 1/8" of vanilla shows on the left, right, and bottom edges to form a pocket. The top of the designer paper should overlap the bottom of the colored woman reading image a tiny bit.

   NOTE: Make sure NOT to put adhesive along the top edge of the designer paper or you won't have a pocket to slide the bookmark into.

9. Cut a 4-3/4" piece of the Black & White 1/4" Gingham Ribbon.

10. Put the ribbon piece on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface. You need to make sure that you protect your work surface with paper as the Stampin' Blends Markers do bleed through.

11. Use the brush tip of the Dark Polished Pink Stampin' Blends to color the ribbon piece.

12. Lay the ribbon across the stamped and colored cardstock/designer paper rectangle so it covers the seam between the two pieces. Flip the rectangle over and secure the ends of the ribbon in place with small strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.

    NOTE: Don't make the ribbon too tight or you won't be able to slip the bookmark into the pocket easily.

13. Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape and add more adhesive to the back of the vanilla rectangle. Adhere it to the front of the Polished Pink card.

14. Use the putty tip of the Take Your Pick to pick out one large and two medium or small gems from the From My Heart Faceted Gems container. Put three small dots of Multipurpose Liquid Glue in a straight line just below the word "relax" on the card front. Adhere the gems to the dots so they are evenly spaced with the large gem in the center. Leave the card front flat to allow the glue to dry.

15. Unlock the Delightful Tag Topper Punch. Slide one short edge of the 2" x 4-1/2" vanilla strip into the punch as far as it will go and get it centered. Punch.

16. Re-ink the lady and dog snuggled up with a book image on Block D with the Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the punched vanilla tag near the top.

17. Use the Polished Pink Stampin' Write Marker (regular marker) to color in only the book cover on the stamped image.

18. Adhere the Polished Pink square in the same design of choice from the 2021-2023 In Color Designer Paper to the bottom of the punched, stamped, and colored tag.

19. Re-ink the entire "relax" sentiment on Block B with the Polished Pink Ink Pad. Stamp it on the horizontal 1-1/2" x 3-1/4" vanilla strip near one end.

20. Unlock the Label Me Fancy Punch. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped sentiment into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch.

21. Use the side of the brush tip of the Polished Pink Stampin' Write Marker (regular marker) to carefully outline the sentiment punch out.

22. Adhere the outlined sentiment punch out to the front of the tag so it is centered over the seam between the designer paper and the vanilla tag.

23. Cut a 6" piece of the Black & White 1/4" Gingham Ribbon.

24. Lay the piece of ribbon on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface.

25. Use the brush tip of the Dark Polished Pink Stampin' Blends to color the ribbon on both sides.

26. Slide one end of the ribbon through the hole in the top of the tag. Pull the ribbon through so it is even.

27. Cut a 10" piece of the Very Vanilla baker's twine from the Baker's Twine Essentials Pack.

28. Wrap the twine around the ribbon near the top of the tag. Tie in place with a small bow. Trim the ends of the twine and the ribbon.

29. Slide the bookmark into the pocket on the front of the card and line up the image of the lady reading as close as you can.
