Hugs For Love Strawberry Hugs

Supplies needed:

Project Recipe:

1. Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer and Paper Snips Scissors:
   - card from Real Red Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
   - 4" x 5-1/4" from Petal Pink Cardstock
   - 1-1/2" x 3-3/4" of pink concentric circles on red background design from Fruit Salad 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
   - 3-1/4" x 3-3./4" of pink dots on white background design from Fruit Salad 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
   - 2-3/4" x 3-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
   - strawberry cut from Fruit Salad 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper using Paper Snips Scissors

2. As you are ready to stamp using the Hugs For Love Set, place the cardstock or designer paper on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.

3. Mount the group of tiny hearts image from the Hugs For Love Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Real Red Ink Pad. Stamp it in the lower right corner of the vertical pink dots Fruit Salad Designer Paper rectangle.

4. Adhere the stamped pink dots designer paper rectangle to the bottom of the vertical Petal Pink rectangle so about 1/8" of pink shows on the left, bottom, and right edges.

5. Adhere the concentric circles on red background Fruit Salad Designer Paper rectangle to the top of the vertical Petal Pink rectangle so about 1/8" of pink shows on the left, top, and right edges.

6. Cut a 4-3/4" piece of the Petal Pink 3/8" Scalloped Ribbon.

7. Lay the ribbon across the matted designer paper rectangle so it covers the seam between the two pieces of designer paper. Fold the ends of the ribbon over and secure the ribbon in place on the back with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.

8. Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the Petal Pink rectangle. Adhere the rectangle to the front of the Real Red card.

9. Mount the heart vines border image from the Hugs For Love Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Real Red Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the horizontal white rectangle so the pointy edges are on the top and bottom.

10. Mount the sentiment of choice from the Hugs For Love Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Real Red Ink Pad. Stamp the sentiment in the center of the border image making sure the pointy edges of the border are on the top and bottom.

11. Unlock the To The Point Label Punch. Hold the punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the stamped image into the punching area and get it lined up. Punch.

12. Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment label punch out to the front of the card as shown so it is centered over the ribbon and is about 5/8" from the left side of the card.

13. If you haven't already done so, use Paper Snips Scissors to cut a strawberry from one of the Fruit Salad Designer Paper designs.

14. Adhere the strawberry cut out to the left side of the sentiment label punch out as shown.

15. Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the Petal Pink 3/8" Scalloped Ribbon.

16. Slide one end of the ribbon under the ribbon already on the card front just to the right of the sentiment label punch out. Tie in place with a half knot. Trim the ends.
