CS=Card Stock
TOMBO= Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive
All dimensions are in inches
Cutting and Die Cutting:
DSP:
Cut 2 @ 6 x 5-1/2" (6" side will be the top of the card--watch the direction of the prints!)
Basic White CS:
--Cut one at 3 x 4-1/4 (Front layer)
--Cut one at 3-3/4 x 5 (Inside)
Sweet Sorbet CS:
--Cut one at 3 x 4-1/4 (Will Be adhered to the back of the Basic White Front Layer)
--Die cut one frame using the Fabulous Frames Dies with the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine or another equivalent
Scoring the DSP Base:
Place the DSP card front design face up so the 6” mark is at the top of the scoring tool of your choice. (How to is broken down below with the Score Board or the Trimmer.)
Score @4-1/4” parallel to the 5-1/2” side.
--Using the Simply Score board, put the 6” side at the top (see picture)
--Use the thicker end of the stylus:
----Gently score at the 4-1/4” mark, taking care not to tear through the DSP.
If using your trimmer, put the 6” side at the top part of your trimmer and the left edge of the DSP at the 4-1/4” mark and score with the light grayish/tan score blade
Score the other piece the same way with the 6" at the top and score at 4-1/4" BUT flip over the DSP and score the other side. See Picture
Fold on the score lines so one goes toward the one print and the other piece goes toward the other print. see picture
DO NOT USE BONE FOLDER...use finger pad to crease.
Adhere the skinny scored strip to the larger piece of the other DSP piece. See picture
Here is what it looks like once adhered with TOMBO
I used the same pack of DSP for this card, but here is an example of what the BACK looks like once all is scored, glued, and folded closed. see picture
Here is how it looks prior to adding the Basic White Sentiment piece to the inside.
Stamping:
Use stamp set of your choice and stamp flower using:
--Sweet Sorbet flower
--Evening Evergreen and Parakeet Party leaves
--I used clear blocks B, D, H, and Uniquely Artistic stamp set.
--Stamp a sentiment on the Basic White inside piece.
--Stamp the outside of your envelope if you desire.
--Remember to clean off your stamps with the Simply Shammy.
Putting it all together.
Adhere the "wrong sides" of the Basic White and Sweet Sorbet rectangles together using a strong tape runner like Seal+.
Adhere the frame die cut using Stampin Dimentionals (I cut skinny strips off the outside ends of the packs for the skinny parts of the frame.)
Using the putty end of your Take Your Pick tool, add the Incolor Matte Dots to the card front as shown on the front photo.
Add the inside piece to the center of the inside using Seal. Be sure to line it up so it is covered by the front flower/frame piece.
