Adhere the piece of gold stripes Silver & Gold Designer Paper to the front of the Petal Pink card.
Rub the Embossing Buddy included in the Embossing Additions Tool Kit all over the 1-1/2" x 4" Petal Pink rectangle.
Mount one of the fatter sentiments of choice from the Hippest Hippos Set on Block B. Ink it up with the VersaMark Ink Pad. Stamp it on the left end of the 1-1/2" x 4" Petal Pink rectangle, leaving room to cut it out.
Lay the VersaMark stamped rectangle in the center of the Powder Pal included in the Embossing Additions Tool Kit. Sprinkle on some gold powder from the Metallics Stampin' Emboss Powders so it covers the sentiment. Tap off excess powder. Return the excess powder to the container to use again later.
Heat the powder with the Heat Tool on the highest setting until it is completely melted (shiny and smooth).
Tip: Use the Crafting Tweezers included in the Embossing Additions Tool Kit to hold the cardstock while you are heating it so you don't burn your fingers.
Pick out the banner die from the Stylish Shapes Dies that cuts out a notched banner that is 1" x 3-1/2". Put it on top of the stamped and heat embossed sentiment on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the sentiment top to bottom with the sentiment closer to the left side. Run through the machine.
Adhere the sentiment banner cut out to the front of the card so it is centered side to side and is about 1-3/8" from the bottom of the card.
Rub the Embossing Buddy included in the Embossing Additions Tool Kit all over the 2" x 2-1/2" Petal Pink and Rings Of Love Designer Paper rectangles.
Mount the dancing hippo image from the Hippest Hippos Set on Block C. Ink it up with the VersaMark Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of each of the 2" x 2-1/2" Petal Pink and Rings Of Love Designer Paper rectangles. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time.
Lay the VersaMark stamped rectangles in the center of the Powder Pal included in the Embossing Additions Tool Kit. Sprinkle on some white powder from the Basics Stampin' Emboss Powders so it covers both rectangles. Tap off excess powder. Return the excess powder to the container to use again later.
One at a time, heat the powder on each rectangle with the Heat Tool on the highest setting until it is completely melted (shiny and smooth).
Tip: Use the Crafting Tweezers included in the Embossing Additions Tool Kit to hold the cardstock or designer paper while you are heating it so you don't burn your fingers.
Pick out the matching hippo die from the Hippo Dies. Put it on top of the stamped hippo image on the Petal Pink rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine.
Tip: It is often better to cut images out with dies before spending all the time to color them in. That way if the dies slip during the cutting process, you haven't wasted a lot of time on the coloring.
Place the Petal Pink hippo cut out on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface. You need to make sure that you protect your work surface with paper as the Stampin' Blends Markers do bleed through.
Use the Dark Petal Pink Stampin' Blends to color in the hippo's nose, fingernails, and pointe shoes.
Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut out the tutu, body, and "sleeves" from the heat embossed hippo image on the designer paper rectangle. Cut just along the outside edge of the embossed lines.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the cut out tutu designer paper image to the top of the heat embossed and colored Petal Pink hippo cut out.
Adhere the layered, heat embossed, and colored hippo cut out to the front of the card using Stampin' Dimensionals as shown.
Pick out the umbrella die from the Hippo Dies. Put it on top of the Rings Of Love Designer Paper square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so you'll cut out the top of the umbrella. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces. Leave the die out.
Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut off any of the handle you may have cut out.
Put the umbrella die on top of the gold foil rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so you'll cut out the handle of the umbrella. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the gold foil handle of the umbrella to the back of the designer paper umbrella top.
Remove the protective backings from the Mini Stampin' Dimensionals and adhere the layered umbrella cut out to the front of the card as shown.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 3 large and 2 small Pale Papaya gems from a sheet of Fine Sparkle Adhesive-Backed Gems making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the front of the card randomly.
