For the card:
As you are ready to stamp using the Hello Ladybug Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put a piece of Grid Paper on top of the Mat to protect it from ink.
DO THESE NEXT TWO STEPS FIRST! This will allow the ink time to dry on the glimmer paper.
Mount the flying ladybug body image from the Hello Ladybug Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Sweet Sorbet Ink Pad. Stamp it on the left edge of the darker glimmer paper square so the head is pointing down.
Mount the open ladybug wings image from the Hello Ladybug Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Sweet Sorbet Ink Pad. Stamp it on the right edge of the lighter glimmer paper square so the tips of the wings are pointing to the left.
Mount the large leaf image from the Hello Ladybug Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Parakeet Party Ink Pad. Stamp it in the lower right corner of the horizontal white rectangle. Let some of the image go off the right and bottom edges.
Mount the sentiment of choice from the Hello Ladybug Set on an appropriate size block. Ink it up with the Sweet Sorbet Ink Pad. Stamp it over the top of the stamped leaf in the lower right corner of the white rectangle.
Insert the Parakeet Party strip into the Fern 3D Embossing Folder. Use the line printed on the front flap of the folder to make sure it is lined up straight. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Adhere the dry embossed Parakeet Party strip to the center of the dotted Sweet Sorbet 2022-2024 In Color Designer Paper strip. Line up the left edges. Don't worry about excess on the right side right now.
Adhere the matted Parakeet Party dry embossed strip/designer paper strip to the top of the stamped white rectangle so there is about 1/4" of white showing on the upper edge. Line up the left edges. Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut off excess cardstock/designer paper on the right edge as needed.
Cut a 6" piece of the Parakeet Party 1/8" Metallic Woven Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the matted cardstock rectangle so it covers the bottom seam between the dry embossed Parakeet Party layer and the designer paper layer. Fold the ends of the ribbon over and secure the ribbon in place on the back of the rectangle using strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the white rectangle. Adhere it to the front of the Sweet Sorbet card.
Unlock the Ladybug Builder Punch. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped ladybug body into the punch and get it centered in the corresponding punching area. Punch. Leave the punch unlocked.
Holding the unlocked Ladybug Builder Punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped ladybug open wings into the punch and get them centered in the corresponding punching area. Punch.
Adhere the open wings punch out to the ladybug body punch out using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Use strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive on the back of the ladybug body punch out to adhere the ladybug to the front of the card at a slight angle as shown on the left side of the dry embossed Parakeet Party strip.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up a small Sweet Sorbet flower from the sheet of Fun Flowers Resin Shapes. Adhere it just to the right of the ladybug punch out's head as shown.
Cut a 6-1/2" piece of the Parakeet Party 1/8" Metallic Woven Ribbon.
Fold the ribbon in half. Slide the folded end under the ribbon already on the card front on the right side. Tie in place using a half knot. Trim the ends and fray them.
