Cut cardstock and Foil Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Powder Pink Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Soft Suede Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from So Saffron Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 3-7/8" from Powder Pink Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 2-3/4" from Gold Foil Sheets
- 2" x 2-1/2" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 1-3/4" x 2-1/2" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 1" x 2" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
Lightly spray the So Saffron rectangle with water. This will help you get a deeper impression when you dry emboss it.
Insert the damp So Saffron rectangle into the Scattered Sequins Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder so about 1-1/2" of the cardstock hangs out of the bottom of the folder. Place the folder with the paper inside directly on your Big Shot Platform at the lowest possible setting. Place a Cutting Pad on top of the folder and run through the Big Shot.
VERY IMPORTANT: You are using only ONE Cutting Pad. If you try to use two, the sandwich will be too thick and you could damage the Big Shot.
Set the dry embossed cardstock aside to let it dry thoroughly.
Tip: You can use a Heat Tool to speed up drying if you wish.
As you are ready to stamp using the More Than Words and Hello Cupcake Sets, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put a piece of paper (Grid Paper works great) on top of the Mat to protect it from ink.
Mount the "today calls for something sweet" sentiment from the More Than Words Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Soft Suede Ink Pad and stamp it in the center of the small Powder Pink rectangle.
Mount the sprinkles image from the Hello Cupcake Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Powder Pink Ink Pad. Stamp it randomly all over the stamped Powder Pink rectangle. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Let some of the images go off the edges. Leave the stamp on the block to use again later.
If the dry embossed So Saffron rectangle is dry, adhere the stamped Powder Pink rectangle to the unembossed bottom.
Adhere the So Saffron/Pink Powder rectangle to the 4" x 5-1/4" rectangle of Soft Suede Cardstock.
Cut a 4-1/2" piece of the Gold 3/8" Metallic-Edge Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the cardstock rectangle so it covers the seam between the So Saffron and Powder Pink pieces of cardstock. Flip the rectangle over and fold the ends of the ribbon over. Adhere the ends of the ribbon in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape strips and add SNAIL to the back of the Soft Suede rectangle. Adhere it to the front of the Powder Pink card.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the Gold 3/8" Metallic-Edge Ribbon.
Slide one end of the ribbon under the ribbon on the card front in the center and tie it in place using a half knot. Trim the ends.
Place the piece of Gold Foil Sheet on the Cutting Pad on top of the Platform on the Big Shot so that the shiny foil side is facing up.
Pick out the cake stand thinlit from the Call Me Cupcake Thinlits. Place it on top of the Gold Foil Sheet on the Big Shot. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush and paper-piercing attachment on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Use Paper Snips to cut tiny pieces from the edge of a Stampin' Dimensionals sheet. Put them on the back of the cake stand in the narrow areas. Put a Mini Stampin' Dimensional on the back of the bottom of the base. Remove the protective backings and adhere the cake stand to the front of the card in the center just above the ribbon knot.
Mount the cupcake bottom image from the Hello Cupcake Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Powder Pink Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the 1-3/4" x 2-1/2" vanilla rectangle.
Pick out the bottom of the cupcake framelit from the Call Me Cupcake Thinlits. Place the stamped cupcake bottom image on the Cutting Pad on the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the cupcake bottom framelit on top so it is centered over the image. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the cupcake bottom cut out to the front of the card so the bottom edge of the cupcake bottom tucks under the top of the cake stand.
Mount the cake layer image from the Hello Cupcake Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Soft Suede Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the 1" x 2" piece of vanilla cardstock.
Pick out the cake layer framelit from the Call Me Cupcake Thinlits. Place the stamped cake layer image on the Cutting Pad on the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the cake layer framelit on top so it is centered over the image. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the cake layer cut out to the front of the card so the bottom edge of the cake layer tucks under the top of the cupcake bottom.
Mount the cupcake frosting image from the Hello Cupcake Set on Block C. Ink it up with the So Saffron Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the 2" x 2-1/2" vanilla rectangle.
Find the sprinkles image from the Hello Cupcake Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Powder Pink Ink Pad. Stamp it on the frosting on the cupcake. WITHOUT re-inking, shift the stamp slightly and stamp again.
Pick out the frosting framelit from the Call Me Cupcake Thinlits. Place the stamped frosting image on the Cutting Pad on the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the frosting framelit on top so it is centered over the image. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the frosting cut out to the front of the card so the bottom edge of the frosting bottom overlaps the top of the cake layer a bit.
Pick out a gold candle from the Candle Embellishments. Remove the protective backing from the adhesive on the back of the candle and adhere it to the card front so it is sticking out of the top of the cupcake frosting just to the left of the swirl at a slight angle.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up three Petal Pink sequins from a sheet of Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them randomly to the front of the card on the So Saffron layer.
