Heartfelt Heart Foil Tins |
E asy, fun Valentine treat packaging using Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer and Paper Snips:
- 2-1/2" x 3-1/4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 2" x 4" from Flirty Flamingo Cardstock
- red or pink foil outline heart punched from red and pink foil hearts and stripes on white background design from From My Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper using the scalloped heart punch in the Heart Punch Pack
Fill the Heart Foil Tins with treats.
Tip: You can actually bake a cupcake in the tin base!
Place the filled tin on a flat surface and secure the lid in place by pressing down lightly.
Pick out a Flirty Flamingo or Real Red doily from the Heart Doilies. Adhere it to the top of the lid in the center using SNAIL Adhesive.
Cut a 4-3/4" piece of Silver 3/8" Metallic-Edge Ribbon so it has sharp angles on either end.
Adhere the ribbon across the top of the lid at a slight angle using a small piece of Tear & Tape Adhesive in the center of the doily.
As you are ready to stamp using the Heartfelt Photopolymer Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "From My Heart to Yours," "Love You Lots," or "So lucky to have a friend like you." sentiment from the Heartfelt Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Real Red Ink Pad or Flirty Flamingo Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the white strip.
If you are making multiple tins and using different colors of ink, then remember to clean your stamp between ink colors using a Simply Shammy and/or Stampin' Mist and Stampin' Scrub.
Unlock the smooth-edged heart punch from the Heart Punch Pack. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped sentiment heart image into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch.
If you haven't already done so, use the scalloped heart punch from the Heart Punch Pack (held upside down so you can see the punching area) to punch out a red or pink foil outline heart from the From My Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper.
Adhere the sentiment heart punch out to the center of the scalloped foil heart punch out.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the matted heart punch out to the center of the lid.
Place the Detailed Hearts Die on top of the Flirty Flamingo rectangle on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool so you'll cut out some little hearts. Run through the tool. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces. Save the little interior heart cut out pieces.
Find one of the larger hearts cut out from the Flirty Flamingo Cardstock with the Detailed Hearts Die in the step above. Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the small pink heart cut out to the top of the lid at a slight angle on one side of the big sentiment heart punch out.
Tip: Save the rest of the little heart cut outs to use on another project.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 3 rhinestones from a sheet of Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere one to the center of the small heart cut out. Adhere the other two randomly to the large sentiment heart punch out.
